I dont know how people can give Dr. Julien a bad review, Ive been a patient of the practice ever since when I woke up one morning with fallen arches in both feet. I was in such pain I could barely walk to my car to drive to the offices. Im not one for surgery or medications and I avoid them if at all possible. Meds will just destroy your natural defenses to cure pains and surgery should be a last resort. to complicate things further, I was injured back when I was 16 in a car wreck and had severe structural damage to my left ankle, both knees and was even paralyzed from the waist down for more than a year and a half so I know what pain and rehabilitative processes are. When I experienced the issue with my arches, Dr. Julien saw me and rather than prescribing pain medication, he put me into orthotic inserts and intense physical therapy for 6 weeks, my body naturally repaired itself and Ive yet to have any further issues and continue with the same daily stretching exercises to prevent any further issues. Sure Dr. Julien has a busy practice because he has a very high success rate of his patients. For the person who could not get into see him, well darling, theres only so many hours in the day and only so many days in the week to see patients. I never had any issues with booking my follow up appointments and therapy sessions.

DO NOT bother if you are a woman over 50! Sent me (and my best friend, I found out later) home for a month w/$5 foam pads. Begged for pain medication. Nothing was administered/prescribed. Hey, NEWSFLASH, Doc: Women are programmed/built to endure the tissue-tearing pain of childbirth: If we say it hurts, it hurts and it needs to be addressed as a part of the healing process? Were you out the day they covered this in med school? 2nd visit: Was given a creme for the pain. Was sent to a PT-in-the-Box for physical therapy and "dry needling." Save yourself $450 and go to AcuWellness on Pharr Road. Pain reduced from 9 to 5 in first visit.

I was really disappointed in my latest interaction with the staff. I called because Im having severe issues with a condition Dr. Julien (who I love) treated me for. I was told they couldnt even squeeze me in for overflow for over a month! So, his patients cant have immediate issues? That doesnt seem plausible for foot issues that often come on suddenly. Its sad that Im going to a different doctor now.

Ive had both feet done by Dr. Julien for bunions and hammer toes. ...he did a superb job, I healed quickly and well....I couldnt be more please with both the doctor and his staff.

Great foot doctor who is also an active runner. Dr. Julien is kind and a good listener. He teaches his patients what do so as to heal and prevent further problems or injury.
