Really dissapointed in this practice. We have been taking our dogs here for years and were generally happy. Last time we were in, they charged us $250 to identify problems in our dog that happen on a yearly basis. Nickel and dimed us for sure. We took the dog to another clinic for a second opinion and they did the same tests and diagnoses for essentially no charge. As a business owner myself, I wont be going back here out of principal. Apparently they are taking lessons out of the Ohio Health playbook and putting it to use for the animal kingdom, less I get a better explanation. Apparently if Dr Dan is out of town, stay home or go elsewhere. Because his care for the animals is not reflected in the rest of the practice.

I have been going here since 2002 and for the most part I love the staff. If your pet is young/healthy great and they do all they can for your ill critters. However, I am unfortunetly leaving them as Dr. Chris and I do not see eye to eye on the end of life care for my cat. I want pallative care only and she does not respect my wishes. She has said I am making him suffer needlessly since they can try multiple things. My pets are my companions and I greatly resent the guilt she is inflicting upon me.

A friend recently discovered a newborn kitten and her dead siblings in a rainstorm. I have been trying very hard to keep the newborn kitten alive and in good health. This would not have been possible without this clinic. Chris and her technicians are passionate about animals. During a particular crisis with the kitten Chris was on vacation and still helped me meet up with a technician after hours! I find their prices very reasonable and owe them so much for all of their help.

Ive only been taking my dog here for a couple of months, and we just added a kitty, but Clintonville Animal Clinic is a great place for us. Their office staff is MUCH friendlier and more knowledgeable than our previous vet, and their prices are reasonable. I work odd hours, so I tend to need appointments really early, and theyve never not been able to get us in at a convenient time. Overall, its been a great experience so far.

Ive been taking both my dogs here for a very long time. In fact. we moved to Indianapolis and havent found a better or even comparable vet. One of my dogs was experiencing some fur loss and two vets here totally missed that he had Cushings Disease. I didnt know until I drove three hours to see Dr. Dan (because I knew hed figure it out) and he got to the cause immediately. I trust this vet absolutely!

The place is a five star because of Dr. Dan. Im not too fond of his wife and the vet that sometimes fill in for the couple also seem incompetent. The services and procedures are reasonably priced and if Dr. Dan is not too busy that day, he will explain your fur babys condition in great detail. I like how my dog is handled there as hes a grumpy animal but has never even barked at the staff there.

The doctors are excellent, they are trustworthy and honest. They are very affordable and eager to help. We have trusted them with our pets health for many years and many pets. Very dependable and understanding. Capable of treating all ages and tempermant. Accepting of all breeds. They even have some great laid back cats n dogs for adoption. I would go nowhere else.

Last year, our dog needed emergency surgery and Dr. Dan performed the surgery after hours and stayed up with our dog overnight to comfort him. It also saved us a lot of money versus going to an ER to have the surgery performed. Even though we moved out of the area, we continue to take our dog to Clintonville in order to have Dr. Dan treat him.

Very caring doctors and quite reasonable prices. Since no one can actually afford pet health insurance, I think this is important information. Dr Dan saved my babys life over Thanksgiving weekend one year and even called me on the holiday to come in and visit her in recovery..

Ive been taking my dog here for a few years because its near my home. They provide very good services. The first time I went the Vet seemed to be talking down to me, like I was an irresponsible college student, but besides that one instance I have been happy with them.

Great doctors! One of the receptionists is extremely unhelpful but the other (I think her name is Alyssa) is absolutely great! Has helped fit us in for emergencies very often. Again, doctors are great and Gerber loves them.

Took my dog here years ago before switching to a regional VCA hospital. The doctor was nice but their hours and location were a bit of a pain for me now that I have 2 dogs.
