I initially scheduled an appointment here to get a second opinion. I had some issues with Care Pet Clinic not seeming to want to run additional tests on my cat, Fizzgig, when she seemed to be declining in health after a few vet visits there. Oakland Park Animal Hospital offered a next day appointment at a reduced rate because I was seeking a second opinion. I rushed her into OPAH a few hours before my scheduled time because she was seizing. Unfortunately, the Cerenia medication CPC gave my cat (plus Im sure her age, IBS, and potentially unknown medical factors) caused my cat to have a seizure and die in my arms. OPAH confirmed she was gone. I had this cat for about 11 years and had rescued her as a starving, abandoned, 5 years old and 5 pound cat. So I was pretty emotional at that visit and it was my first time ever in that building. The Vet and his Assistant were very kind and understanding. And the Vet, after confirming she was gone, offered some helpful medical opinion as to what might have been going on. As well as an offer to cremate her and a hug. I sincerely appreciated how kind they were to me in my state of panic and grief. I will definitely be seeing them as my regular vet with my new cat as they not only seem more caring than CPC, but are significantly closer to my home.

Loved the vets here. They are helping my injured puppy. You can tell they love animals due to the demeanor they exhibit. Clean, friendly and explain the what and whys so that you can understand. So happy my neighbor referred me to them after my puppy injured his leg. My new vet for his life.

The Doctors and staff are competent. My fur babies have been going here for at least 9 years. This place is the best Vet hospital in central Ohio and they dont charge an exuberant amount of money like the other clinics out there. I go here for All my pets needs.

The staff and Drs at Oakland Park Animal Hospital are wonderful, knowledgeable, and very much care about the well-being of their clients. Dr. Ciuca and Dr. Grimm are both outstanding veterinarians. It is easy to get appointments when needed.
