Overall I was not happy with my experience here. I noticed that my cat had urinary tract blockage and was basically immobile and unwilling to eat so I googled emergency clinics and this came up as 3rd on the list. I called and told them the situation and asked what they thought I should do. They told me to bring the cat in. Panicked and worried for the health of my cat I did just that. The cat was examined by the vet, the vet verified the blockage, and then I was told that there was nothing that could be done because they were closing soon and couldnt help me any more. So basically they charged me 50 dollars to tell me what I already knew and then sent me out the door while my cat was in terrible pain. Now granted, it can be said that this is my fault because I did not verify for sure if they had emergency services. But I told them the situation was an emergency (UT blockages in cats can result in death or permanent damage) and they knew they were closing and couldnt do anything about it yet they still advised me to come in. The dr practicing wasnt even the regular doctor and gave me very limited and unclear advice after scolding me for being a bad owner. I was near tears in the waiting room after the visit because they couldnt help me and I was wasting time and money while the cat suffered, and they just bluntly asked me to leave so that they could move on. I get it. Its a business. But have a little compassion and maybe help a confused owner figure out how to handle an unexpected emergency. I will never again return and will advise others to stay away. They wasted my time and could have caused my cat permanent damage because they didnt know or care what they were doing.

This is a very excellent facility Ive been a customer since Dr. Washington opened the doors of this Vet Hospital nearly 30 years ago Great services and caring staff. Additionally, Dr. Calvin Washington has served our country in the military as a medical doctor we need to celebrate his service to the USA!!!! God bless you Dr. Washington keep up the good work you can not always satisfied everyone ...but...if you have given your "best" then your labor is not in vain!!!! Decided to stop and check about getting my husky checked up while picking my kid up next door...they were already closed and got threatened to have my car towed along with anyone elses in the lot...obviously doesnt care about families so i can assume the same about my pets..will most definitely not b returning here and suggest neither does anyone else.... EDIT: turns out they really did call the Towing company on everyone so come here at your own risk!

I was not very pleased with my visit. The facility looked run down and not a friendly place for pets! The office staff was rude at times. The Doctor seemed very unprofessional and not interested in my dog and not very confident about what he was talking about. The doctor looked at my pet for 2 mins and printed off a piece of paper and charged me $25 for that!! After driving 60mins to get there I was very disappointed with this Veterinary Hospital!!

Dr. Washington and his staff are wonderful! Very caring and through. They helped me thru the very difficult decision to put my 17 year old cat down after she went into renal failure and the Dr. even came to my house to make the process more comfortable for my cat.Very afordable as well! Thankfully, I found a new friend at CHA Animal Shelter in Westerville and will continue with her care at the East Columbus Veterinary Hospital.

Ive been to several vets since moving to Columbus and settled on this one being the right one for my pets and myself. The doctor is passionate and compassionate every time we visit. The staff go out of their way to help you with any needs or issues. Ive already decided that even though Im moving across town Id still bring my pets here!

This vet is horrible DONT I repeat DONT take your pet here my dog died because of this vet he doesnt care about animals my dog should have been tested for parvo and wasnt due to a WRONG JUDGEMENT call he says !!!!

The doc is very professional. Staff is on point. Had a puppy I had to put down. The office sent a sympathy card signed by all staff. Its the little things like this that will make him our vet til he hangs it up.
