I never speak badly about professionals because everyone has a bad day or gets busy, etc. but I know this family and have been going to him for over 17 years and worked with him as an intern and resident. I agree his staff was so sweet and nice and kept apologizing over and over because my adult son has a ruptured ear drum with pain and he couldnt see him for over a week and wasnt the least bit concerned about it. As for the care and respect of individuals and professionals, he really doesnt seem to care. I was very disappointed in him and his lack of caring attitude. He took (past tense because not any more!) care of two of our children for several years, but it seems over the years he has become less caring. I know him, his wife, and his dad personally and his father was a very good physician and always caring and showed it all the time. This doc? NOT at ALL. Very disappointed in how he has grown personally and professionally. Maybe the previous comments are right...if not a child, then forget it. Very disappointed....2 stars is being very generous!

Dr. Pema is awesome!!! Very caring and has a great bedside manner. Also funny and has a sense of humor. Previous reviews of him are not true in my experience. He sees patients in order of concerns. Very positive doctor and even called me at home for an issue after surgery. Thanks OSU and Dr. Pema!!!!!!

I have an appointment set up so I havent been to the facility yet, but the lady on the phone was extremely nice. Mainly wanted to leave a review stating theyre hours Monday through Friday is actually until 4:30pm, not 5:00pm.

This guy is great! Really knows his stuff, great bedside manner=understanding the patient as a person. In for our 3rd VNS surgery with him. So glad for the new office location!
