Dishonest and misleading, felt like we were on an assembly line. Expensive, but theyll give you a loan...! We went for an initial appointment. They did x-rays, and my wife had to wait for a very long time in various rooms - it was like waiting in a busy ER at a hospital, except that we had an appointment. Finally, after two hours of this, they called us all back into an office to meet with Don, who advised us that the procedures were going to cost over $7,000. But LUCKILY, they had financing available for us!! Before we knew it we were signed up for a credit plan with a $3000 limit. We left feeling a bit overwhelmed and run through a cattle mill, like a used car lot that just wants to sell loans. After getting a second opinion, we were able to find a much more reasonable dentist who was more personal and took the time to actually talk to us. So that same day, we cancelled our future appointments and called Don at Aspen to cancel the line of credit. He said we would probably still receive a welcome packet from Genesis Credit, but that they would refund the charges and everything would be taken care of in a couple weeks. Imagine our surprise when we received a credit card bill a month later from Genesis Credit for the amount of the treatment that we never received. The big problem I have with Aspen came when I called them to ask why we were getting a bill. I was put on hold for about 7 minutes by the receptionist while she "investigated" the matter, and then when she came back she said that the refund had been processed a while ago and it was going through today, what a coincidence. So we called Genesis Credit to confirm and found out that a refund request had come through at 4:42pm that same day, while I was on the phone with the receptionist. Now I know why I was on hold for so long. I dont like dishonesty. If you neglected to put the refund through, say so. Dont try to cover your mistake. And I cant imagine what would have happened had I not called to investigate - Id probably be stuck with a several thousand dollar credit bill for services that we never received. This whole experience causes me to not trust them, and why would I want someone I dont trust drilling in my familys mouths?

Sat in dentist chair for 2 hours befor the dentist came they only had 1 dentist flying from room to room it was like no patient care at all it was was how fast can we get them out becus they only had 1 dentist. It still took 2 hours after the waitin room to see him even tho he was going so fast an not caring at all. He was in such a hurry an didn care what he was doing if it hurt or not when he stabbed me with novacaine he didn ask was i doing ok nothing an he was in such a hurry n so careless he accidentally stabbed me in my tongue with novacaine. Was quoted a price an they told me a different price after i had ex-rays lol just a complete joke from start to finish n didn care at all about the patient didn even stop to ask any of the other patients if they were ok when the dentist was doin work cus i could here rooms on each side of me. I feel bad for anyone that goes there an my god dont take ur child there!!!! N dont bother sending me a canned response from the owner like u did the others on here who had problems it not genuine n everyone knows nothing will be done by u telling me to call ur 1800 number to complain cus lets face it barring something huge like a lawsuit nothing will change there its always gonna b how fast can we get them out n how much can we charge them !!!!

I am so Happy I found this place! I had been to many dentist this week, trying to find someone who could help me with a tooth that the nerve had died in. I was in such sever pain and everyone else turned me away say it would be weeks, or that they couldnt help me because I Couldnt afford it.However today I called Aspen in mentor. Not only did they fix my tooth right away the staff was so warm and kind. I came in when they opened in such pain and tears in my eyes, the woman at the front ran in the back instantly to get some gel to numb me, They where quick to get me in that back and make me comfortable, When the kind fellow came back to give me the price it was well below what most charge. When I waited to here how long i would have to wait he simply smiled and said "For you today." I cried and he hugged me giving me a tissue. The dentist was quick and now I am pain free. I will never go anywhere else! That you to the staff for making me feel important and not just another number!

Soon as I worked and provided insurance information they said they done except that company insurance. But when I spoke with the call center to make appointment as new patient she didnt say they dont take that kind of insurance. So I was disappointed the minute the secretary at the office told me. Other than as a new patient the first examine was free they told me the work I needed done and with them not taking the insurance I have it was over $7500 to pay out of pocket. The 2 vendors turned me down to do a payment plan and I need the work done. They was a huge disappointment. The staff was very nice, knowledgeable and professional. Courteous individuals and it is clean in there so I still plan to continue using this company for my care because know they will help me and it will be done correctly. Im very particular about my mouth and I love my teeth. Aspen dental is a great place for dental work. U wont b disappointed with the experience!

I have had 2 awful experience at this place And I only been there twice! 1) My first vi,sit after X-rays they sat me down in the billing room to discuss getting $2000.00 worth of work done on my teeth after my insurance pays them . Which was ridiculous cause i always had beautiful teeth. This became an heated discussion and as we continued talking more, the billing guy added more things that needed to be done and when he was done it was like $5000. 2) I needed a tooth pulled and i guess the inexperience doctor wasnt strong enough to pull it so he CUT my gum to get it out. When i opened my eyes to see he had a saw for an extraction I freaked. You are suppose to get permission before you cut a piece of body tissue off someone!! Not to Mention the Receptionist is Rude=Rude+Rude!!! !DO NOT GO TO ASPEN DENTAL !!! This place is not about the patients but a source of income only.

My husband and I both went to Aspen Dental in Mentor, OH. I have to say, this was the best decision we have ever made. Everyone there was friendly and pleasant, and truly seemed to care about our needs. I had a very short time frame to take advantage of my dental insurance before it expired and they made everything work perfectly within that time. Dr Lu was very professional while answering my questions. Neda, the dental assistant was very sweet and considerate of our needs. Connie (the jabber!) was great. She made the peridontal exam easy and fun. Never thought I would say that! Of course I have to mention Dante would carefully and completely explained our treatment plans, insurance coverage and out-of-pocket expense. We felt very well informed before any work was done. Thanks to you guys for a wonderful dental experience!
