Not even 1 STAR eligible......brought newly adopted shelter kitty (2 year old male) for a "free vet" visit shelter had made possible with a certificate- then $291 later hubby brought kitty and all kinds of questionable "treatments" home. (Told hubby GULLIBLE must have been written on his forehead in bright red letters as they certainly gave him a song and dance!) Raised my concerns with this office over this "BILL" and even called another vet to get another opinion over what necessary care needed.....was refunded $210. 00 and still feel we were taken for $80.00 for unnecessary shots/test. Wow if any citizen thought a new shelter kitty would end up costing $291 in the first week with this vet (even had a clean bill of health at the shelter 5 days prior) no one would ever adopt.... So be cautious here and know what your animal really needs before you go into this vet as now hubby wiser and promises not to wear easy mark on forehead again. Hopefully this is just a rare occurrence and others have not had such a traumatic experience as we had. Our kitty will go to that vet in Galena Ohio who was so helpful on the phone when I was on a fact finding mission over what should be reasonable.

Just to be clear, I am in not posting these comments to be defamatory in any manner, I am merely telling our story and our experience(s) with Pet Medical Center. Back in January of this year our beloved, healthy, 6 month old French bulldog (which is a Brachycephalic dog breed) passed away during a routine surgery. He was being neutered. Since then, we have spoken with veterinarians from other practices who specialize in Brachycephalic dog breeds, including OSU medical center and we know now that short nose and flat face dogs require very specific medical staff, procedures and attention when it comes to surgery and anesthesia - especially while in recovery. Besides the shock of losing an animal in the most routine of surgeries, we paid for a "puppy plan" in November and our French bulldog passed in January...We were not offered reimbursement for the 10 months that remained on the puppy plan. There is no "star" ranking system low enough to rate our experience with Pet Medical Center. This was a horrible experience for my entire family - PLEASE research the special needs of your dog breed before choosing a veterinarian to avoid any experience like ours.

I have had two fur babies who have received services from Dr. Nowry and his amazing staff. My golden retriever, Maggie came first to him as a puppy and continued to see him until she passed away this past March at age 14. They were able to give her a great quality of life even with her back issues in her last year with laser therapy. And when she passed away, some of the staff even stopped by the house to personally wish me their condolences. Taylor, my other "senior citizen" has been a patient since we rescued him 12 years ago. He is also getting excellent treatment and Im sure that his longevity (as well as Maggies) and wonderful life quality is certainly in part to their care at the Pet Medical Center. The staff is stellar!

Looking for a great veterinary clinic? We Highly recommend PMCW! Dr. Nowery and his wonderful staff not only treat our pets as family, they treat us like family too. Our two "puppies", Lucy (age 11) and Alfonso (age 9) have been "family-patients" all of their lives. They have had excellent care whether it was minor or major surgery, teeth cleaning and/or extractions or basic health care visits. We can always count on them for great health care advise and they always call to follow up after every appointment with any test results and to see how our "kids" are doing. I dont think you will find a more professional, friendly, or caring group than Dr. Nowery and his associates at Pet Medical Center of Westerville.

I have been a client of pet medical center for 25 years and Dr. Nowry and the staff there are like family. They love all of my pets like there own and take time to make us feel like we are there only patients. They have helped our family provide the best care possible for our fury family members. I am a better pet parent because they are willing to take the time to teach me the proper care for there particular breed and age. If your looking for a great health care provider for your pets, look no further because pet medical center of Westerville is the best of the best. Sincerely, connie Smith and family.

I have been a client for four years now. I cannot say enough good things about Pet Medical Center of Westerville. I started with them on a sad note as I called right before closing inquiring if someone could help with my lab who couldnt walk. Despite being 10 minutes before closing on Friday, they told me to come in. The compassion and care they showed me that day and the weeks to come showed me this is where I wanted any future dogs to go. Since then, they have assisted with my two dogs and been great to work with. I am grateful for the care they provide my four legged babies!

We have taken all of our cats to Dr. Nowery since 1999. He and his staff are caring and thorough. They provide help above and beyond annual exams and vaccinations. Dr. Nowery has discovered heart conditions, urinary blockages, and thyroid issues in our felines over the years. Emergency trips to treat wounds from neighborhood cat fights have helped avoid infections, which can be serious for kitties. We are grateful for Doctor Nowerys guidance in maintaining good health for our many cats.

My first time going to this Vet and what a pleasure it was. Its close to home, very clean, very personable and the doctor (the owner) was so nice and really took the time needed to properly evaluate my dog. The whole experience was very positive and the staff was fantastic. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a pet need with a veterinarian.
