This was my first time at this place and I feel like just a number. I dont expect people to build some great relationship with me, but I also dont want to feel rushed. This was the least thorough eye exam I have ever received. The doctor maybe spend 3-4 minutes in the room. I was also irritated because obviously this place has a lot of clients since they are so rushed and have so many doctors....so why are you not stocked on your contacts?? I got a new RX for my contacts and needed a trial pair to see how they felt....of course, they were out of what I needed. (Acuvue Oasys) THe lady at the counter was also rude when I asked her for my RX so I could write it down. I asked her for it because hopefully I could get a trial pair from somewhere else because they said it takes 5-7 days for their orders to come in. She said "it doesnt work that way"....and didnt care to explain to me what my options were. I wont be going back. I pay too much into insurance and for a contact exam fitting for people to suck at their jobs. THis place wasnt exactly kind or personable to their patients. Oh and my doctor was Dr. Pettigrew. He was nice, but didnt care to spend more than 5 minutes in my room.

The doctors are great but the staff is awful especially the billing manager. I had an appointment in October where I used the rest of my insurance money for contacts and it was okayed by insurance. Come February I get a bill from there office for a office visit and my contacts. I called the office and the office manager said that insurance said they would not cover. I explained their receptionist called my insurance that day and they said they would. She wouldnt budge. I also asked why it took so long to send a bill and she said it was because my insurance just now responded. I said that was strange and they should have contacted my insurance earlier if I had a balance on my account. I contacted my insurance and they said that was not true that they took care of everything 7 days after my appointment in October. He called the doctors office and took care of everything. He said they "misplaced" my insurance payment. They lied to cover their mistake and that is not right. Will not go back to a office that lies.

Every time I go to this place something bad happens. The 1st visit I left my driver license, and the receptionist gave them to another customer. The customer refused to give them back and finally had to make a police report to get my license back from there customer and they did nothing to help. My daughter loved the doctor so we went back again this year. First, we were there for 2 hours. The when we got our glasses, one of the tech took my glasses and put them back and instead of finding the ones I picked out she just grabbed another pair that were a completely different my pair. My appointment was on March 31, Guess what they still dont have my Two pair of single vision lens glasses ready and no one knows what to tell me.The Doctor was very nice we loved him but, I will never go back there and I will never recommend this place to anyone.

I have been coming back every year for the last 3 years, i love this place. The doctor and staff are always awesome and very welcoming. My vision didnt get worse ever since the first visit (before that my eyes were getting worse by at least a 25 every year). The doc was able to correct my vision with the best possible i could wish for and every time i called they were there for me. I recommend this place to every one who doesnt like to complain about everything.

I switched to another optometrist because Norman Vision was out of network. After 2 visits to the in network optometrist, I returned to Norman Vision Source. Im glad I did. Turns out they knew of a way to get most of my expense covered because of my health insurance. They were very helpful and courteous. Dr. Martin and his staff are very professional and gave me a great examination, explained how and why my eyes are changing. Im happy I came back.

Worse service ever! Staff is VERY disorganize. Made an appointment and went there. They told me my daughter was not due for check-up and thats because I called and stopped in the day before to confirm my appointment. Also, called to find out if I can talk to the doctor regarding my daughters prescription & told them it was an urgent matter, staff told me they werent sure if the doctor would have time.

Terrible. First and last time I will ever go there. They didnt use my insurance and charged me the whole amount of the visit, then called back and told me they would have to credit me. The credit took days to process. Meanwhile I needed those $300 dollars and it cost me financial hardship. They didnt call me when my glasses were done, but lied and said they did. Find another place to go.

Everyone from the technicians to the doctors themselves are all extremely warm and helpful people who genuinely care about giving you wonderful service every time. Disappointed. Had great service there before and the optometerist who helped me was very nice; tried calling and getting my prescription faxed to me had to call twice because it was sent to the wrong number; the woman who answered the phone was very rude and would interrupt me, and hung up abruptly at the end of the call. Great doctor, bad staff.

Dr. Troy Flax with this practice does a great job in caring for his patients. They have the equipment to monitor eye problems, so they know if they need to refer you on for eye surgery such as cataracts, glaucoma, etc. Dr. Flax is also great about working with people with allergies.

I loved this place. I visited twice while a student at OU. They schedule appointments so wait time is minimal. I love the technology they have to check your eyes. The whole place is also really elegant looking, which is nice. I am sad to be moving and have to find somewhere new!

Great staff and doctors! I love Dr. Flax! I recommend him to everyone. Theyre super quick, and exceedingly polite. They make the yearly visit not such a pain!
