My first experience with ZoomCare will also be my last. I have chronic ear infections and had one progressively getting worse, and being uninsured at the moment I heard ZoomCare was a reliable option for uninsured patients to still receive the prescriptions they need quickly. Each time Ive had an infection Ive used the same medication, it works, I feel better. Since I was on a tight budget I decided to try their Skype appointments. I called ahead in advance to see if they could prescribe for ear infections over Skype if I already knew what type of medication works best for me. They told me that was fine. So, I book the appointment for 2pm. Get a call at 2, they say itll be 2:30. Get a call at 2:30, they say 15 more minutes. I dont get the Skype call until 3:05. The doctor I spoke to was unfamiliar with Skype and it kept crashing on her. When it did work, I explained my problems and the medication that worked best for me. The doctor disagreed with me and said she could not prescribe for ear infections over Skype. Now I understand that this is quite difficult as she does not get to check my ear directly. I have, however, had ear infections my entire life, I know when I have them, and I know what medication works best. And I was told by ZoomCare that this would be fine. Turns out, it wasnt. The Skype appointment turned out to be useless as I was prescribed nothing. The doctor then recommended that I come in for an actual appointment. I wasnt planning on this as that is $99 as opposed to $49, but the doctor said they would apply the $49 to it and it would only cost me $50 more. Which is nice, but I feel like I was pushed into doing the in-person checkup and the Skype appointment was more or less useless. So, I head over to Tanasbourne and do the in-person appointment. Once again, the doctor disagrees I have an ear infection but prescribes me an antibiotic and a nasal spray for allergy-related symptoms. I indicate to her I have a possible allergy to penicillin and to avoid any antibiotics with that in it, and to prescribe generics only as I cant afford expensive pills, and the normal antibiotics I take for infections cost only $4 AND they work. So, I get my prescription and go to Fred Meyer. The pharmacist gets my medication and notes that the antibiotic is NOT a generic and costs $57, and it has an ingredient closely related to penicillin that people with penicillin allergies could possibly have severe allergic reactions to. This is absolutely ridiculous and I declined it immediately, which the pharmacist agreed with and told me shed recommend the $4 pill I always take instead. I feel completely ripped off. Not only did ZoomCare give me incorrect information about what their Skype appointments are used for, I was pushed into a more expensive appointment where I was then prescribed pricey drugs that I could possibly have a severe allergic reaction to. Not a chance. Its a shame, because I had heard many positive things about ZoomCare and yet they completely failed me in every aspect while costing me over $100. Thus, I dont recommend ZoomCare, and I will absolutely not be using them again. Its clear to me that they dont have several aspects of what they claim to provide together.

I am the WORST type of customer for the medical profession..I think I know it all and when I get sick I refuse to get help till Im really really sick.I went to Zoomcare because my employers insurance had not taken effect yet and I was....really really sick. I got into the patient room before I even had time to pick up a magazine. I saw Stephanie Benjamin PA...and I proceeded to tell her I totally didnt agree with her suggestions that it was strep throat. And balked at the idea of spending extra money for a test to tell me what I already knew...Thank goodness for my husbands ability to reason with me. I took the test and....*sheepish grin*....well I had strep throat. Stephanie was not at all snarky about being right...she seemed to have way too much experience dealing with my type...because she handled it very well. Stephanie called to follow up with me a few days later and I told her I was well on the mend. Unfortunately, after finishing the antibiotics I still was having some swollen lymph-nodes and a bit of a sore throat that seemed to be getting more intense instead of going away...all I had to do was call zoomcare and Stephanie called me back later the same day and asked what pharmacy I wanted her to call in an alternate antibiotic prescription to. I didnt have to go back in to receive it, or grovel over the phone!! Now that I have made this story far too long, what I really want to say is...Zoomcare was cheaper than other urgent cares...WAY FASTER!!! And Stephanie Benjamin PA...is a rockstar when it comes to dealing with stubborn patients..Thank you Zoomcare & Ms.Benjamin!

I visited the zoomcare tanasbourne couple of times now this month as my mom is not feeling well.Dr Tina and Dr Eric both are equally good interms of knowledge and bedside manner. My mom doesnt know English but still they are so co operative and treated her with detailed notes .I love their care and pricing, they have upfront low fee than a insurance provider.Impressed by their care,I am going to choose anyone of them as my family primary care ..... The receptionist at the front the front desk...(forgot her good name ) was very helpful and also so responsible about claiming the insurance as my mom dont have insurance. When my mom need to take an x_Ray ...she even suggested the place whatever is cheaper atmost and also provided the traveling distance. She works with the patient inorder to claim your dollars through insurance and also very attentive . While we were waiting(wait time is always 10 min or less which is so impressive )another family rushed in with their son around 5yrs hurt his eyes n need an appointment as it was the closing time ...she treated the boy with ice n something and comfort them he is ok and suggested the nearby zoomcare team at tigard.... Small group but I feel they all are really a good team who works like a family .... I suggested them to all my friends and few of them are switching the urgent care from big names...

This is an odd review as I came here from a terrible experience at Legacy Go Health on a day off to get treatment for an on going issue I had for past week and on the Legacy go health review I saw someone had a similar experience with them and there practice and they recommended Zoom Care. As I like to avoid Doctors like the plague I decided the symptoms I have had to be alarming enough to get a second diagnosis other than the nothing I was provided at Legacy Go. I worked with Melissa who was SUPER Helpful and very professional as attentive and never left me alone in the room for 30+ minutes. I didnt see multiple nurses or anything of the sort she also had a shadow with her but was able to help me while maintaining great professionalism. She prescribed me a few things to help alleviate the symptoms I have and also preventive measures to make sure long term I wont experience this again. So I will say my experience was night and day with this clinic and big Kudos to Melissa and staff today.
