I was not impressed with this small one-vet clinic. The veterinarian could not even be bothered coming back in to give me details of how to give medication or follow up or even say goodbye. She sent an assistant to do it and hid out in the back area. Even when I had several questions, I still did not get clarification as it all went through the assistant and I left not knowing what steps to take. I doubt very much they have certified veterinary technicians, and the clinic was stuffy and very small. I would not use this clinic again. She may love animals- I do too. But that does not a great vet make. I look for the full package when it comes to my animals, from certified technicians to good people skills to whether or not the clinic appears to be modern and clean (including good ventilation, space to reduce stress on patients, and modern equipment). I recommend the Eugene Animal Hospital. They have a large, fully staffed clinic, excellent vets and excellent staff, from the receptionists to the technicians. I have been to MANY vets in the area looking for a permanent one for my animals, and Dr. Rena Cowen is excellent. I trust this clinic with my animals for complex prcedures down to simple vaccinations (as much as I can trust anyone with my pets), and I am very critical. Of course, always be on top of things and do not ever trust any doctor completely. Use your own brain, do yur research, and trust your instincts as well.

We had a very unsatisfactory experience when we used this vet. My biggest complaint is the fact that we paid $240 for our visit when all my dog needed was his broken nail clipped and bandaged. It wasnt something that I could have done at home and so I do appreciate the service, however I felt the costs involved were extraordinary for the required treatment. I wasnt there for the visit; my husband took my dog in while I was working. When I spoke with the doctor about my concerns of excessive charges and excessive medications prescribed she stated that my dog was very uncooperative. I guess they charge extra for this. My dog is not aggressive at all and so if there was a problem perhaps it was with their bedside manor. I will NOT return.

Dr. Michele has been our vet for several years. She is kind & compassionate--so are her employees. Our pets love going there because of all the attention they receive. They are located in a darling vintage home, which is a lovely environment for all of us. There is a city park across the street where our dogs can do their business & blow off a little exuberance. We have taken advantage of the house calls service when we have had to say good-bye to a beloved pet. It also comes in handy when everyone needs boosters & they all wont fit into a Mini Cooper. These folks are professional, but personable. Our dogs think theyre family!

Weve been bringing our cats to the Coburg Veterinary Clinic for many years. Dr. Nugent and her staff are caring and knowledgeable. They always follow up to see how the cats are doing afterward. Dr. Michelle saved our elderly cats life at one point, and he went on to live a handful more fulfilling years (we estimate he lived to the age of around 27!). When the time came to say goodbye, the doctor and nurse came to our house. That was so much better for him and us than taking him into an office. We really appreciate you all for the good work you do. Thank you!

Highly Recommend the Coburg Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Nugent and the staff are affordable, caring and Great with our pets. Most of my family has taken their furry family members there for years. They always follow up on how our pets are doing. One time they even came to the house when a pet was unable to be taken in. They have the small town feel to the personal touch they give. A Wonderful thing in this world today.

We are very sorry for your bad experience. I welcome you to call the clinic and speak to the manager about your experiences. A nail trim at our clinic is not $25 and we would never perform a service without requested.

We took our small dog here with a broken leg. It seemed expensive, every check up on the leg was $300+, they dont mention what it might cost, what they are planning on doing, they just do it and put their hand out for more money. The final straw was a $25 charge to trim the nails on our 7 pound dog that we didnt ask for. We have not been back and will not go back.

I took my dog into the Coburg Vet Clinic to be euthanized. The service provided was sensitive and very well done. The vet explained all steps in the process as we went through it. If the care provided for living dogs is equivalent I would highly recommend this clinic.

Friendly, helpful, and was able to get in almost right away. Their pricing is a lot more reasonable than the other vet thats close to us, as well. My mother-in-law has been taking her dog here for years, I just started taking mine, and am really happy with them.

I am new to the area and my dog needed an examination for travel and board. The staff was amazingly helpful, and even helped find a personal sitter for my dog. This is a very small-town attitude you dont find anymore.
