They treated me fine when I had insurance through my work. When I was raped and assaulted and was laid off from my job for missing a bit of work because of my injuries (despite turning in the OFLA and FMLA paperwork my employer requested), I had to go on OHP (medicaid). This is when all my problems started. The staff became horribly rude and disrespectful. When I called to schedule an appointment with my doctor who I had been seeing for a while, I told the scheduler that I had switched to OHP. She rudely told me they dont take new OHP patients. I told her Im not a new patient, Im an established patient, and have been seeing Dr. Duong for a while. She just kept saying, "We dont take new OHP patients" over and over again. I finally hung up, called back, got someone else, and was able to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately, it only gets worse from here. My doctor prescribed something thats new and not routinely prescribed, so my insurance wouldnt cover it. Without insurance it would have cost me $500. Thats unreasonable by anyones standards. My doctors office refused to work with me in trying to find a medication my insurance would cover. I even spoke with my insurance company and they told me to give my doctors office the number for their coordinated care department thats specifically for providers to call to see what they can prescribe thats covered. When I tried to give this number to one of the staff and asked if someone there could call them, she rudely told me, "No. Were not going to do that." I asked if my nurse could call be back and she forwarded me to a voicemail. Since switching to OHP, nurses only returned my calls about a quarter of the time. It was very clear they were trying to bully me into seeking out a new doctor to get rid of the OHP patient. I struggled with them for over a month an a half trying to get them to prescribe something for an injury from being raped. I was in pain and discomfort and was made to continue to suffer because they dont like people who are on OHP. They made me feel like crap for being on medicaid. I didnt choose to be raped, nor did I choose to have my employer violate state and federal law in laying me off. Ive never been treated so horribly by any doctors office in my entire life. Seriously, who does this? Who treats a rape victim like garbage and refuses to treat them? Only do business with this place if you want to support a doctors office that treats like garbage rape victims who end up having to go on medicaid. So much for the Hippocratic oath.

I needed a PCP and a friend referred me to OMG. I chose this location because its close to my home. I was nervous going in because Im quite picky about my care providers and I love who my new NP is! I felt as though she listened to my concerns, offered objective advice and was incredibly knowledgable. I think the level of care on my first visit was outstanding and Im happy to have chosen OMG.

Totally unempatheic doctors, negative experience every single visit. Dr. Chance specifically was a terrible doctor, he basically had me suggest what I wanted to do with my health care, did not take a leading role and did not act as a partner. Plus they test their patients for marijuana use and will not help those who test positive. What year is it?!

Ive been a patient at OMG for 20+ years of my life and have seen Dr. Bonnie Pollack at Southtowne for the past 4+ years. The staff has been nothing short of helpful, kind and accommodating. I recommend them to anyone.

i was just told by their receptionist that medicare people are second class citizens, which they dont accept. even with extended coverage. i guess thats just more of the capitalist freedom we hear so much about.

Did not inform me about the outrageous price for a simple procedure or that it was not usually covered by insurance. $500 for a ten minute appointment. Unhelpful receptionist.

I would not recommend using Oregon Medical Group at all. The lack of empathy and understanding is surreal. Extremely disappointed and beyond glad I have found care elsewhere.
