My boyfriend and I were planning to ring in the new year at the casino, but instead, spent it in the ER. My foot found a hole in a parking lot and I went down. I broke both bones in my ankle. I was very pleased with the care I received. Everyone I met was very helpful and compassionate. The X-ray tech was even cracking jokes with me on my way back to my cubicle. Helped relax me. I cant take narcotic pain meds, but the ER Doc gave me the option of setting my ankle without the meds. I knew I had not choice. My only complaint is I wish they would have given the "anti-puke" meds a little more time to get into my system. Needless to say, they didnt work and I went through quite a few "puke condoms." They allowed my boyfriend to stay with me the whole time, which I am so thankful for. The ER Doc and nurse seemed to work well as a team. After my ankle was set, I was again X-rayed, this time with the portable machine. I was sent home with a CD of the x-rays which was very helpful. It wasnt how I wanted to spend my New Year, but am so thankful for the great care I received at this ER.

I was recently hospitalized for 5 days with a serious health issue. I was in pain, nervous, and irritable. Every nurse who cared for me was compassionate, personable, and went above and beyond to ease my mental and physical discomfort. They kept my mood light when I felt very dark and sad. I highly recommend this hospital because of the personal care I received and the amazing nurses and doctors.

I was on vacation and had a really bad fall. From the staff who helped me out of the car, the nurse that held my hand, and the nurse that made a follow up call and took the time to really see how I was doing, I received excellent care. While I ended up spending 99% of said vacation unable to do much I will always be grateful to the ER staff.

Ignorant staff. Pray you never get hurt and get sent there. Had a ER doctor unsure of a procedure offer to go watch YouTube to refresh his training and memory.
