I have been a long time client of the Canterbury Animal Hospital. I have found advice that I could always trust, a philosophy that inspired me, and exceptional medical care for our pets. We have had a boxer, a Poodle and several cats who were fortunate enough to live out their days with the excellent care that Jerry Cox provided. Years ago, I even worked there for a short time. There was a Parvo epidemic in the area at the time and so I saw the clinic operate under pressure, the quality was never compromised. Jerrys wife, Ann, quietly works behind the scenes with competence and compassion for the clients, the employees and the general public. I recommend the clinic and the staff without hesitation and with strong confidence in your satisfaction.

Staff seems pleasant. My cat Ripley previously had an anal gland infection 2 years ago and we have been able to prevent reoccurrence with anal gland expression. Called to set up an appointment at CAH and mentioned that our cat will need a anal gland treatment. They said no problem come on in! When we brought Ripley in, the "vet" did not even evaluate him and told us anal gland expression was a waste of our time and money. He proceeded to lecture us on how he use to do them but now doesnt because it is just his belief. He proceeded to charge us $49 for the office visit. Again, there was no mention over the phone during scheduling about his beliefs. Talk about waste of time and money.

My dog had a last minute issue and his vet was out of town. I brought him in and I am very happy with the service. Service was quick but through and staff is professional and friendly. I appreciate that they made sure to check back in with me to make sure my dog is making a good recovery. Pricing is great, and fair, no need to be scared to be overcharged at this clinic. Dr. Cox is very knowledgeable and I wont hesitate to come back in the future. Great clinic!

Dr. Cox and staff are superb. Hes an affable man whos quick to smile. He is truly excellent with animals, and his knowledge is second-to-none. Hes always diagnosed my bulldog in minutes and has been 100% accurate for the last two years. Dr. Cox is also cognizant of costs, and I often leave his clinic saving a buck or two which is always appreciated. In my opinion, hes the go-to Veterinarian for Tigard and surrounding neighborhoods.
