Weve been taking our cats here for at almost 10 years now. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable, and they even offer discounts off visits w/vaccines on Tuesdays. They conveniently take credit cards and Care Credit. They never try to push services on your. (Dr. Johnson even taught us how to brush our cats teeth if to prevent a major cleaning.) You can get in without an appointment and theyre even open Saturdays. We first came for a second opinion on our cat who was diagnosed from another vet with eye problems. The Community Pet Clinic found her to be in very good health without any eye problems. After that, we switched all our cats to the Community Pet Clinic. (For the record, now several years later shes still without any eye problems.) We now have a rescue cat, who may have been feral for a while. It took us two years before we could pick him up, and another year before he would even "meow". Most vets have a hard time examining him because hes a little wild and keeps trying to get away. We usually try to calm him as best we can, petting him and keeping his head facing us during vet visits. But, when Dr. Johnson was examining him, he was fine. Dr. Johnson handled him expertly, and so well in fact, we hardly had to distract him. The Community Pet Clinic follows-up with you to check on your pets health and keeps you updated with emails and postcards so you dont forget important vaccines or annual exams. They even send out birthday greetings for your pet(s). I regularly recommend the Community Pet Clinic to people I meet who are looking for a good vet.

Always a pleasure to visit the staff at Community Pet Hospital. Im a regular visitor with my 3 dogs and with the many foster dogs that come through our home. Every Dr. and Tech we work with is awesome and our pups are happy to visit them. Wed been with our previous Vet for a number of years and when he was in the process of retiring he had a few visiting Vets cover for him. We met Dr. Bridget Hendricks during this transitional period when we brought two of our dogs in. Well, that was it and weve been loyal to Community Pet Hospital ever since. Dr. Johnson, Christensen & Hendricks have treated our fur children for years now and we couldnt be happier! Oh, and their prices for services, meds, surgeries are very fair!

Ive been taking my diabetic cat Oliver to CPH for his check-ups, food and insulin. The vets are great (especially Dr. Sanchez and Dr. Johnson) however the last vet tech we had seemed like she wanted nothing to do with my cat and was cold and not friendly. And Oliver is a cuddly teddy bear kind of guy who purrs if you touch him so Im doubting it was him. Weve also had a difficult time buying Olivers food here, its almost never in stock so I buy it on Amazon now. However, the great service we receive from the office staff and the doctors overshadows these small things. The team at this clinic really does go above and beyond and we greatly appreciate all that they do!

I always have a great experience at CPH - Staff is friendly and caring - Vets the same and knowledgeable - One of my cats has had two surgeries for cancer and you all saved him - I also had another cat with mouth cancer and I was scheduled for surgery but the vet explained that it really wasnt a viable solution - she was older and he recommended I put her down - I did and appreciated the fact he didnt do an expensive surgery just to have her suffer or die soon after - Your prices and more than fair as compared with other vets - In short I am always confident when coming to your clinic - Great job

It was disappionted to hear that although they were one of the clinics on the coupon from Oregon Spay and Neuter Foundation they do not actually participate in the program and require that you pay additional fees. I can walk across the street to Tigard Animal Hospital and though they have never seen or treated my puppy would infact honor the coupon as is. Companion had been my vet for my last 5 dogs and 3 cats, Dr Christensen and Hendricks are compassionate and wonderful. In this economy every little bit helps and with a dog that has such bad allergies money is better spent elsewhere.

Everyone there are very nice and caring. I have a basset hound who hates having his nails trimmed and makes a fuss every time but they always make me feel welcomed to show up again for his trims! They take good care of Jefferson. Ive been going to them for years and have gotten good care. The prices are reasonable but really its more about the people making us always feel welcomed. Ive rarely had to wait even without making appt. Keep up the good work! They are never understaffed either.

We have a service dog who became very ill fast. We took him to his regular vet who then sent us to Dove Lewis. They wanted to keep him over night to the tune of $3,000.00 or more dollars. We then consulted a family member who works with vets all around the U.S. and he recommended Dr.Johnson. Dr. Johnson saved our dogs life and it did not cost us our retirement. We have been back for check up and shots and will continue to come to this clinic. My husband and I think they are great.

We have always appreciated the high level of customer service and experience at Community Pet Hospital. We took our two dogs in for exams, shots and a nail clipping today. As usual everyone is so nice and friendly and took very good care of our pets. I have lived in Tigard for over 20 years and early on tried other Pet Hospitals. Once we found Community Pet Hospital, we have never taken our pets anywhere else. I highly recommend giving them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Thank you Dr. Kimball and staff for taking such good care of Livy and us this morning. We had an amazing experience with you the last time Livy was sick. You showed so much care and you helped her to recover which is why we came back to you this time to help Livy. Sadly, we all couldnt help her this time. Keep up the good work and if anyone has a hamster that needs care this is the place to go.

Dr Johnson is so caring and knowledgeable about animals and he takes times to answer my questions and concerns. Really appreciate that. The office staff are great even remembering names when it had been about a year since we had been in. I would highly recommend them. We are a dog family but have talked with friends and know this Community Pet clinic is also great with cats too.

I have taken my small dog here and have to say that I very impressed with not only the prices but the care that is given to my dog. The people that work there are VERY friendly and they even have a neat website where you can email a vet questions. I am very impressed and would DEFINITLY recommend to anyone who loves thier animals.
