DONT GO HERE!!!!At first i never had any problems with this vet, then he diagnosed my dog with pneumonia and gave me some antibiotics and said he has a 50% chance to survive and sent me out the door. I got a second opinion at another vet and they said that he was right but he gave me the wrong antibiotics and should have done some x-rays and blood test to make sure how bad my dogs condition is. This vet told me to find a new vet, plus now my dog is a week behind when he could have been a week ahead. Never going to Dr. Fammatre ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus they are always very rude and act like im interupting there lifes, absolutetly no customer service skills and the receptionist is very very rude. If you want the best care for your animal... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I spoke to a gal early a.m. as my dog had a seizure and was vomiting. I believe this person was a vet, by the tone of the conversation, but I cant be for sure. This person did not ask me any questions at all, it was apparent that I was bothering her, and the conversation ended with her stating that she could not possible see my dog she was too busy, take the dog somewhere else. Couldnt have cared less. I am new to Molalla and needed a vet desperately, I found one in Oregon City who was adamant I bring Joe in right away. You have to care to be in this business, when youre working with peoples pets. This office apparently does not need new clientele nor do they care if your animal is sick.

Absolutely rude people. First I found a dog and brought it in to see if they recognized it. They pretty much told me to leave . My lab got ran over . I was not home my friend was there. He took my dog to this place (bleeding and not responding) he carried him threw the door . They told him to leave and make a appointment. And since he was not the owner of the dog he would not see him anyway. Wow. Just wow. Way to be guys. Shame on you . Thanks to South Vet Clinic and HOPE clinic my dog is alive. They kept him over three nights monitoring him. Oh can you see the only good comments they have are from annoyomus.... And who cares anyways because they are not accepting new patients

I showed up with my animal to be seen by the Vet and was told I need an appointment. No problems, I thought that would be the case anyways. Well, his receptionist was at the post office and he wouldnt schedule me an appointment. He told me to call back after a bit and talk with his receptionist. I called 2 hours later and then was told that he wasnt interested in seeing my sick kitten. He could of told me this when I was in but didnt. His attitude through out the whole interaction was absolutely horrible and arrogant. The GREAT reviews are all done by the same three people on numerous websites.... Payed advertisers?

I have been taking my animals to him for 20 years. I drive from Canby, 40 minutes away. He is no nonsense, straightforward... a real "farmers vet." If the animal has something beyond the scope of his expertise he will recommend, free of charge, someone else. His prices are not only fair, but sometimes too low. I once anon. sent him $ so he & his staff could get pizza on me because I thought he was so reasonable. This guy wont hit you up for unnecessary care. He may not be overly warm & fuzzy, but he is honest, hard working, and professional.

TO EVERYONE WHO IS BITCHING ABOUT THIS VET- Not only is he sweet and caring but YES HES BUSY! Unlike most vets he has some patients that cant just be thrown in the back seat of ur car and brought there. The man makes house calls, and sorry, but people who hes been helping for YEARS kinda have priority over u and ur 2$ kitten. GET OVER UR SELVES!!! I have been going to him for well over 10 years and he is AMAZING! So please, get off ur high horses and have some respect! After all, they are a SMALL FAMILY BUSINESS. God damn people.

I had my first and last interaction with this crabby, at best, vet. My experience was very similar to a lot of these complaints. Rude, arrogant, condescending! I have never, EVER encountered a single person who works at a vet to be such a miserable person. In fact, I have had absolutely positive experiences everywhere I have gone. Except here. I was trying to help my mom find a good vet, close to her home, for her new dog. This guy is NOT it. Avoid!

My family has taken our pets here for 28 years. We moved from the area to SW Portland, and are still driving down to Molalla to see Dr. Fammatre. With only two people in the clinic, yes, they can be a little abrupt on the phone. But theyre also incredibly compassionate, and always put the animal first. We could not be happier with the care hes given our critters!

I have a sickly dog that spends a lot of time with this vet. He offers excellent service and care at a remarkably low cost. You can tell that this man does what he does because its his passion to care for animals - not to make a quick $. I highly recommend taking your animal there.

Dr. Fammatre is the best veterinarian I have used. He is straight-forward - results oriented. He takes the time to talk with pet-owners about treatments and costs. He was particularly helpful in explaining to my children what was happening to their pet.

Have a 6 month old basset. Has injury to knee. They wont take new patients. Their business is that BOOMING. Please its Molalla. No point in recommding, they dont take new patients. Dont bother.

Hours: 8:30-5:00 Monday-Friday The receptionist was great. When leaving, the doctor talked a lot about what was going on with my beloved dog. Given the circumstance, it was a very pleasant trip.

People, people...Dr. Fammatre is EXTREMELY busy...and no he does not take new patients, but for the patients he does have he takes such great care of the animals and truly knows what hes doing.
