I went to the Gentle Dental Division office this evening for my six month cleaning. During my last visit, Keith handled much of the exam. It was much to my surprise, then, that I saw Stephanie Mclean this time. I remembered her from the Idylwood office. Stephanie recognized me immediately and we struck up a fun conversation about the joys of driving back and forth to Salem. As we talked, I settled in for the hygiene cleaning, which traditionally has been unpleasant, and full of sharp pains for some very sensitive areas in my mouth. Stephanie started by offering, and then applying some type of desensitizing paste from Colgate, and then proceeded with the cleaning. I dont know whether I owe my thanks more to the paste, or to Stephanies skillful cleaning, but that was the single most relaxing and thorough hygiene appointment I think Ive ever had. I dont impress easily, but I had to take a minute to express how much I appreciated her care today. Usually my muscles are tense, waiting for that moment of "through the roof" tooth pain, but it never came. I was at ease through the entire appointment, and even hummed as I walked out the door. Ill be telling everyone I know that the Gentle Dental Division office rocks, with the best hygienist around!!

Front staff is consistently unprofessional and apparently, after three months, cannot bill for my husbands visit to my insurance correctly. They keep claiming that the insurance denies the claim and when I call my insurance, they say theyve never received a single claim for my husband. Apparently its really hard for them to be able to do their job. Yes, I am caught up on payments to my insurance and all is golden. It just seems this office is clearly incapable of even calling their patients back to give updates on whats happening. Ive called the district manager, Tanya, at her home office, to which she wasnt even there. Ive left my information with an employee by the name of Jacob and he said hell e-mail her the information. Im not paying any $323 dollar bill when you cant even do your job right to bill insurance properly.

The staff was polite, but the dentist was determined for me to to it his way. Like many people I cant take on another huge bill and monthly payments. I understand the importance of trying to save your natural teeth. But when you reference Ikea three times, then you dont want me as a patient. I told him that he had a Rolls-Royce plan for someone with a beer budget. I even took a friend with me and he didnt want to hear what she had to say. So I will take my beer budget and find another dentist. Hope you have better success. I know they can do better. Am missing several teeth and two on each side of the front teeth, was asked if I wanted them replaced, I said yes, he said that they were cosmetic, and I am thinking that I am to be happy with getting food stuck.

Always a pleasant experience. I heard about this place through my husband, he said it was a great experience and he is usually unhappy with his dental experiences. I took my daughter for her first dental visit there and she was happy, she loves the little treasure box and the front staff is always so sweet. We got a free orthodontist consultation and determined my daughter needs partial braces, so they made up a payment plan for her to get them if I decided to do it. Though I had decided to wait, it is nice they made a potential plan for me that would be good for a few months.

My experience after doctor Zeller left that office and took his staff is horrible, they tell you your insurance will cover then they say the insurance wont cover the procedure. My husband went in and they assured us the insurance would cover half well we paid the half and a month later we get a bill in the mail for the full amount. So frustrating when people do not know how to do their job. Please educate your staff on customer service.

Terrible experience! I was in pain for 3 weeks after getting two fillings done, that never bothered me before. Fillings was done terrible, needed a root canal after + a crown over that tooth. Lots of time wasted! Dr. Tansey is young, doesnt have experience and doesnt know what shes doing...I end up spending $5000 somewhere else fixing Dr. Tansey terrible job. I would never ever recommend anyone going there.

Great staff all very friendly, I hate male dentists so having a wonderful and nice female dentist really worked for me. very clear about everything they do. All my questions were answered quite satisfactorily. The only issue for me was the high price of the dental work i received, but thats going to happen anywhere, i just wish they had a payment plan.

Refused to do a cleaning without x-rays. I have perfect teeth but they require that they radiate me before they will clean my teeth. Just say No!!!!!

Was charged over $300 when my insurance pays 100%. Company admits it owes me the money yet after 3 months I have not seen a refund.
