I have been a patient of Dr. Reisigs office for approx. 10 years. I have never left his office feeling anything but satisfied and grateful. After 15 years experience in the dental field and being an extremely picky person regarding everything from sterilization, laboratory choices that are utilizing top quality materials for crowns etc., to a dentist who is not afraid of using new dental products and/or procedures. Rest assured that Dr. Reisigs procedures are always on the cutting edge. He has gone above and beyond to make sure Im satisfied from beginning to the end of any procedures. Dr. Reisigs staff has been nothing but kind and he always hires the best of the best. I was surprised to learn that sweet & quiet Tonja (Office Manager/Front Office) has worked for him for 18 years already! I think that alone speaks very highly of both of them. Estella (Dental Assistant) who has worked with Dr. Reisig for over 7 years is always happy, smiling and reassuring as well as willing to address any questions or concerns I may have. Denise (Dental Hygienist) is very qualified, kind, gentle and non-judgmental when she addresses any area of concerns in my mouth. I have referred my entire family to Dr. Reisigs office and we are all in agreement that he is a man of integrity and has a huge heart. There is simply not enough space to tell you all that he has given to our community serving uninsured children and also serving desperate children in other destitute countries. Definitely deserving of 5 stars!!!

This is definitely one of the best dentist and hygienist teams in town. Having needed considerable dental work throughout my life, Ive easily worked with nearly 10 dentists and Dr. Reisig is clearly come to the top of my list. The staff is friendly, hes friendly. Im pretty sure the complimentary Keurig coffee maker in the lobby is friendly too. I seriously feel calm there, none of that white coat anxiety. Any question that Ive ever had to ask has been answered fully and sincerely. They keep up with their field and and they implement the proven procedures into their practice. With each checkup, I learn more about how my dental health actually indicates larger health issues and can even improve some. Perhaps the most important thing is: he doesnt do that "MMM HMMM" thing while he works on your mouth. You know what I mean; they ask you a question while your mouth is wrenched open; you gurgle some weird answer and then he or she says, "MMM HMM." Seriously, a lot of dentists do this. It drives me nuts. Hell actually tell you whats going on in your mouth and what hes doing. If he actually has a question, hell give you the ability to. He and his staff will ask you to signal him if you need to be more numb or if you need a rinse. Seriously people, this is like gold.

Love Dr Reisig. He is very friendly, caring and personable. The hygienist and dental assistants are also very kind and take their time for any procedure Ive ever had done. This review would have been five stars but I find the administrative staff could use some work in customer relations. I had a mix up with my dental insurance and what information was needed for the primary holder, even though I had my specific benefits card. I was a brand new patient at the time. Any kind of health care visits make me extremely anxious, she made me feel like they wouldnt see me unless I knew the answer. Instead of friendly saying, "Its okay, we can always get it after your appointment." or doing anything to help de-escalate the situation. Even calling for additional billing information was like pulling teeth. (no pun intended) A little extra training with staff on how to handle anxious or upset clients would be beneficial. All that aside I know that I can be a pain in the rear when it comes to insurance and billing, whether it is at the hospital, dr office, etc. but typically, I always feel like the staff even though may be frustrated, they go the extra mile to help me understand it and are empathetic along the way.

I have been a patient here for about 7 years and I dont live in Salem anymore, but I still drive to go to Dr Reisig because he and his staff are great. I trust them totally and feel my oral care and my gums have improved under their watch. Absolutely recommend them. Also would like to give a recommendation for the new mtm teeth aligner- my teeth were starting to move and after all the pain I endured as an adolescent I didnt want to lose my straight teeth. Im very pleased with the results. The aligner took a little time to get used to, but it is definitely worth it and so nice to have something you can take on and off. Highly recommend this and of course Dr Reisig and his staff are awesome!

I have been seeing Dr. Reisig and his hygienists for several years now and there is absolutely no better dentist in Salem. I have lived here my entire life and have very challenging dental issues but Dr. Reisig has continued to keep my chin up and to provide expert and TOP NOTCH treatment regardless of my dental needs. His referrals to other surgeons that specialize when its needed have never failed me and I trust him 100% in all judgements that he has made with my oral health. PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE to see Dr. Reisig. You will NOT be disappointed and if you are a veteran or active military member, know that you will be treated like family in his care.

From helping my daughter with a dental emergency, providing this princess with a crown, to providing our familys routine care and checkups, he is by far the best at what he does. The staff from checking in to finish is friendly, personable, upbeat, caring, and go above and beyond to make your dental experience pleasurable and comfortable. I love and appreciate my whitening for life, my travel kits and most of all I feel recognized, valued, appreciated, and encouraged (RAVE) to take care of my teeth and smile. Dr Reisig and his staff are all excellent! No, more than excellent! I went for my initial check exam with a broken tooth expecting to hear that itd need to be pulled, and Dr. Reisig said it can be saved and repaired! He was great to banter with, and made me feel comfortable which is something very difficult seeing as I hate going to the dentist! His assistant took care when taking x-rays to make sure I was comfortable which was great as well.... Stellar all around! Highly recommend!

I had high hopes for this place but was very disappointed. Front desk staff was extremely unprofessional & rude . One of the older ladies complained about different clients the Whole time I was filling out my paper work not a good way to make someone feel comfortable about being there. Really have some respect for the people who spend a lot of money at your office..The dental hygienist was pleasant and also the dentist, but first impressions mean a lot to me. I will not be going back.

My family and I love Dr. Reisig and his staff. They are kind, friendly, knowledgeable and always go the extra mile to ensure that we receive the best possible care. We also appreciate that they seem to be on the cutting edge where their equipment and cleaning methods are concerned. They get the job done as quickly and painlessly as possible (my wife loves the numbing gel they put on her sensitive gums before a cleaning). We highly recommend Dr. Reisig and South Salem Dental Care.
