Ive been so nervous to see another dermatologist because the incredible insincerity I felt with this doctor. She spent 2 minutes with me and said everythings fine. Then the next time I had to come in (was referred by another doctor to her) I figured Id give it another try. She walked in handed me some cream said it causes cancer, but Im not concerned with it as the reason Im using it on you for, and then walked out. no chance to talk to her at all. In my follow up appointment she had to do a biopsy, and she came in to start the process I had to stop her and say, wait is this going to hurt, how big an incession are you going to make, whats involved. Didnt even consult me before starting the process. In asking her the questions, she was brief, to the point and showed no compassion for my concern or questions. Im glad I read these, I dont feel so alone in my thoughts on the matter. Guess Ill be checking this out BEFORE going to see a doctor.

Im so glad to see that Im not the only one who has had this experience with Dr. Landers. I recently moved to the area and had to pick a dermatologist who could continue the regimen I had started in another state. When I called to make the appointment, I offered to give them my old dermatologists contact information as well as get a hold of my chart, but was assured there was no need. When I came in to Dr. Landers, I thought the staff was very friendly and helpful, but my experience with her was horrible! Not only did she not once make eye contact with me, she made me feel like I was wasting her time. And when she realized they did not have my medical chart on file from the old practice, she treated me as if that was my fault. I was incredibly frustrated with the visit and am so thankful that the majority of the care for my particular issue was done before I got here. As soon as this issue is resolved, Im walking away and never coming back.

I had an amazing experience. Dr. Landers squeezed me in at the last minute. I called in the morning and she made time for me that afternoon even though she was otherwise booked. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though it was clear that she was extremely busy, Dr. Landers was friendly, informative, and quick. I did notice some negative reviews prior to seeing Dr. Landers but my experience was only positive. In addition, I was self pay and the visit was completely affordable. Most importantly she was willing to see me even though I was uninsured. I called other offices that wouldnt even schedule an appointment until my insurance from my new job was effective even though I was willing to pay out of pocket.

I think that a good experience could be had at Advanced Dermatology of Oregon, but it wasnt the case for me. Dr. Landers quickly looked at my face and prescribed 3 acne treatments. The treatments were not compatible with my lifestyle and I didnt end up using any of the medications she prescribed long-term. Furthermore I have a cyst I was concerned about and Dr. Landers told me it was a pimple without looking closely at it. 6 months later I still have the epidermoid cyst. Access to specialized doctors like dermatologists is inevitably limited for those that work full-time, so I was disappointed with the lack of attention paid to my concerns. My experience at Advanced Dermatology of Oregon did not resolve any of my skin problems.

Some of the other reviews talk about how they felt rushed. I could not disagree more. The office is run very efficiently and the questions are answered directly and in speedy time. Personally, I would prefer to have an efficient and quality doctors appointment provided by Dr. Landers than waiting around for all the chit chat that some people expect to have with their doctor. Most of us are busy and prefer to get back to work or get along with our day. Building a relationship with your doctor works in some situations like an OB or family practice doctor, but this is a dermatologist that focuses on a very limited scope of ailments. Get in, get out, find the problem, and implement a solution. I would highly recommend this doctor!

I had horrible acne at the age of 22 and could not get rid of it. I was referred to Dr. Landers and I have been thrilled with her as a doctor and her staff ever since! Dr. Landers spent time with me each month I went in to see her to accurately chart my progress, and she also always made sure I was doing OK on the medication. When I had a reaction to the medication she took immediate action and pulled me off of it and kept track of how I was doing. A year later, my acne started to come back, and I went back into Dr. Landers and again, she spent time with me and we talked about all of my options. I would recommend Dr. Landers to ANYONE and EVERYONE!

After reading the reviews I was concerned about seeing Dr. Landers. But, a friend I trust recommended her highly and I decided to believe her. Im glad I did! Her staff is friendly and professional. While the wait time was 15 minutes - thats average for most doctors offices. Dr. Maeran Landers was friendly, efficient and professional. She diagnosed my skin rash immediately and gave me instructions on how to apply the medication. I would not hesitate recommending her! The 2 reviews I read were scary and off-putting but her waiting room was full. Obviously her patients (or all but 2) are very happy with her and her work.

We highly recommend Dr. Landers. Our son had bumps on his arm that werent going away, almost like bug bites. We contacted Dr. Landers and she was able to get us in right away, diagnosed the problem, and was able to find a very fast solution for the virus that was on our sons arm. It cleared it up very quickly and we havent had any return. She offered us all of our options and her advice based on her experience. She was excellent with our 9 year old son, too. Shes very smart, knowledgeable, and no small-talk which we prefer. She runs a great practice with professional, nice staff.

HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Dr Landers! She is incredible! She recently found basal cell carcinoma on my face. The mole was not a typical looking mole, but a waxy bump. She did a great job of taking a biopsy, quick results and a great referral to a specialty doctor (Dr. Kao) for removal (since it was on my face). I just went back in for my 6 month body check up today - and feel confident leaving her office with accurate results! EVERYONE should have their freckles & moles checked out by her (not just your regular doctor, but a dermatologist!)

Dr. Landers is the best Dermatologist I have ever worked with. Having had a chronic skin condition since I was 16, Ive seen quite a few Dermatologists over the years. Dr. Landers hands down is the best Ive come across. I say this not only from my own personal experience, but also from the feedback Ive received from the many friends and family whom I have referred to her. If you need help, with confidence I can say with any skin issue, dont wait to make an appt. to see her. You wont regret it.
