If there is an option for no star, I will definitely choose that one. I dont understand why people who give them 4 stars in other website. Their staff is rude and mean. You can stand at the counter and no one will give you an eye contact and ask if you need any help. (Dont even think about a smile) You feel you are interrupting their work. You thought you were invisible. I saw there was a mom with toddler children. They only have a tiny small corner for young kids. When the kids were misbehaving, the staff gave them a very unwelcoming look, one staff even walk out front to talk to the mom. When you call on the phone, it is a forever waiting mode. When you leave a phone message, they never call you back and confirm with the message. I never call and try to get hold to talk to the doctor. I never try because I already expect, it is probably impossible. About their service, they are highly ineffective. I was sent to get a blood work and the lab said they never receive the order from the practice. When I go to their office, the staff refuse to give me the paper blood work order and said they already sent to the lab. I am totally fed up and I decided I have to move on with a doctor who might have less experience than they are but at least the staff will give you the kind of respect I expect. Good luck with your family doctor hunting.. but definitely this is the worst I have ever experienced.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. McGuire and Dr. McAuley. They remind me of the of my family doctor growing up. They are genuinely concerned about you as a person, and not just as a patient. I have also seen the other doctors on the staff from time-to-time, and they have also been excellent when I needed their services. If you are looking for doctors who are very knowledgeable and who care about you, I strongly recommend this practice. Also, the office staff deserves some positive mention. They may not be able to answer the phone every time it rings, but they have always called back and have made every effort to accommodate our needs and emergencies. I have never been treated rudely or felt slighted in over 10 years. I am not sure what others are looking for in a doctor, but I have been to enough over the years to know when I found good ones. My entire family uses Family Practice Associates. Thank you.

I agree that there is room for improvement with the staff. They certainly dont deserve five stars, but Dr. McGuire does. I am a senior citizen and have lived in seven different geographic locations. Dr. Michael McGuire is by far the best family practice physician that I have ever had. He is respectful, a wonderful listener and honestly cares about his patients. Dr. McGuire is very knowledgeable. On the one occasion when he could not answer my question, he was humble enough to admit that he would have to do some research. He then personally called me with the answer. When referral is needed he chooses highly competent physicians, and when possible, ones that share his style of doctor/patient interaction. I very highly recommend Dr. Michael McGuire.

Dr maguire gets 5 stars hands down. The 3 stars comes from the ZERO the office staff gets. They need to clean house starting with the sassy blonde that works up front that seems to get up on the wrong side of the bed EVERY morning. Woman is miserable and genuinely seems to enjoy giving people bad news with the sole explanation bei "company policy" Get rid of all of your office staff. They are rude and unhelpful.
