If I could give him a "0", I would. My first visit was his birthday and there was an office party and everyone was loud and kids were running around - he didnt have time for me. He started by asking why I thought I had RA. I had just explained that I was transferring from another rheumatologist who no longer accepted my insurance, who had diagnosed me with RA. He said he couldnt treat me for RA from her previous exams and sent me to do his own tests. Fine, I left and had tests done. Came back with positive RA. Next visit, he said hed send in refills for the meds that were obviously working, only he didnt. When I called his office to ask where the prescription was because I only had 2 days worth left, they did not return my call. I called 48 hours later and asked again. They said - at 2 pm - that hed left already (on a Friday) and he told his staff that he wasnt going to fill my prescription, he didnt think I needed it. Lady on phone was rude, too. So I called my primary care doctor and asked him how harmful going cold turkey is. He said "not good, I will call it in for you". So now I am returning to previous RA doctor - worth the expense because this guy is a complete joke.
