Ive been working with Dr. Pierson for going on five months, and although his staff is ready to go above and beyond, his P.A. is a wonderful person, Doctor Pierson himself has a bedside manor parallel only to Adolf Hitler. Dr. Pierson has, on numerous occasions raised his voice to me whilst during visits, with a wide open exam room door for all to hear about his misunderstanding of the particular situation. My medication schedule has broken twice since Ive been a patient because he does not seem to care much about those patients who are in critical need of expert pain management. He takes every problem caused by a pharmacy, underling...what have you...and turns it around on his patients. For all you out there with debilitating diseases that cause chronic pain, you know how important it is to have support from your doctors - and unfortunately you will not find that with Dr. Pierson, nor will you find the solace we both know youre hoping for. Might get luck with his P.A. who is very nice and caring - but hes got an attitude that will break you down faster than you ever thought possible. After an extended period of time, it was held against me that some one my doctors (university hospitals) have not submitted proper scans and assessments to him - which threatened my "contract" with him. Oh yes, apparently there is a contract. Its very involved and theyre all full of it with their contracts along with each patients contract used against them as a scapegoat. They dont trust any of their patients and require multiple urine examinations per quarter...those are just some of the annoying parts. So remember, if youre looking to have a contract thrown in your face every time you need relief, then see this doctor for sure....hell make sure to waste your time AND take out all his aggression on you. So will his Office Manager The WORST part - is every visit took at least an hour longer than it should have. My family practice is BOOMING with people...Dr. Michael McGuire sees somewhere around 80 patients a day, has been my family doctor since I was 9 and has taken very good care of me. If him and his staff are able to manage their patients ALONG with being kind and caring, then theres no reason why this SMALL, unremarkable place could ever treat someone with as much distain as Ive been treated and never, ever deserved; along with having to make me wait three times as long. Be cautious with this particular Practice. I know they are new to the area and have been on the tip of most primary care physicians lips...but I attest to you all now that Dr. Pierson was a loose cannon with me, and Ive witnessed his wrath with several other patients inside the office, over the phone - and then heard them all discussing said patient between the two doctors, office manager, and two receptionists. Its vial. Dont bother, youll regret it. Id rather be at a level 10 before I ever see him again. Seriously, the guy doesnt even have a photo or logo on his google plus page...thats the perfect way to make a connection with someone! Nope - hes not interested with connections, apparently just insurance disbursements?

I went to see this doctor one time. As others have said. Hes an ass. In every sense of the word. He screamed at me, basically called me a drug user. Preaching at me. I honesty wanted to punch him in his mouth. And let him know what real pain is all about. I told my orthopedic surgeon how he treated me and she even called him to give him a blast of crap. I am shocked this poor excuse for a doctor is still in business. If anyone is thinking about seeing this man think twice and go somewhere else. Youll get no compassion from him. He will scold you. And make you feel guilty for needing pain medication. I understand many people abuse the medicine I take, but that doesnt mean I am. My basic feeling from him is everyone is addicted and no one is in pain. I went to Bryn Mawr rehab after seeing Dr Hilter one time. And was taking very good care of. Unfortunately Bryn Mawr does not offer pain medicine therapy anymore. Google reviews werent available when I first saw this dr. But after reading what others have said. I feel better knowing it wasnt just me who he treated like an addict.

I called to help make an appointment for a patient suffering from pain and who had been referred by the hospital pain management staff to follow up with Dr. Pierson. The patient had been unsuccessful in securing an appointment. He flat out refused to see her, threw a few insults at me, including "shut up", and hung up the phone abruptly. This is the first time in my 21 year career that I have come across this level of unprofessional and offensive behavior, and this is the first time that I have written a negative review about any person. No one should have to be subjected to such a human. I am glad I was screamed at in this manner, and not the poor patient.

My wife has a myriad of conditions that all add up to daily pain. Chronic pain. Life is not easy when you are in constant pain. Dr. Pierson is among the finest to treat her condition in many years of visiting pain physicians. He is caring, takes his time with her, and treats her with dignity. I sit in each visit, and I feel qualified to provide this review on her behalf. She has been under his care for over a year and has benefitted immensely from his treatment. If you are pain, whether chronic or acute, give Dr. Pierson a try. He is a professional through and through and is well versed in the best treatments.

The staff here are excellent and always ready to go above and beyond. Dr. Pierson however, leaves a lot to be desired. He is a sexist pig and a complete unprofessional. You are wasting your time and money coming to this practice. All the reviews are correct about him making innappropriate comments, raising his voice, most visits not even doing any kind of exam and, leaving doors wide open are all absolutely true. Please do your research and find a reputible doctor. There is another pain management practice one floor up snd the difference is night and day!

The staff was courteous and pleasant. Answering questions at all times from a real base of knowledge. Waiting times less than 15 minutes. I have been a chronic pain patient for nearly 20 years, so I have experience in a broad spectrum in pain management environments, processes and care. Both Dr Brian and his PA are compassionate about relieving pain. Overall a good experience.

If I could put ZERO stars I would. Do not go to this man; I dont understand how he is still in practice. He was very rude and tells patients that they broke the "contract"; medical professions what does braking a contract mean? He doesnt treat patients like patients!!! Find another doctor, there are many compassionate professional doctors out there!!!

This goon takes joy in others suffering. Never before have I encountered such a poor excuse for a human-being as Dr Pierson. Stay away from this bastard at all costs because whatever ails you will hurt you more after you see him!
