During my eye exam with Dr Morgan he told me to wear my glasses for a week and let him know if I had any problems. When I called to schedule a follow up they wanted me to wait two weeks I said no. During my 5 minute follow up with Dr Morgan who acted extremely annoyed told me he could not help me that I had to go to a specialist because I had cornea degeneration. I was very upset when I left because I felt that was something he should have seen during my initial exam. I went to another eye doctor after a very thorough exam I was total there was absolutely nothing wrong with my cornea. In addition, I was told the eye prescription Dr Morgan gave me did absolutely nothing to improve my vision and the lens did not fit my glasses they were made 100% incorrect. When I contact American Eyewear, Barb was very rude told me to have a good day and hung up. I am sure I am not the first and certainly will not be the last!

The doctor was very professional and handled the exam with no complaints. The customer service side of the office was terrible. They would not allow me to pick up my new glasses even after the money had cleared my bank account. I even brought in proof from the bank that the check had been paid and that still wasnt good enough. Finally got the glasses after a quick 2 minute stop turned into 20 minutes while they bickered and argued with my bank (causing me to be late to work) only to discover that they hadnt put the prescription lenses into the frames! Absolutely the LAST time I ever do business with them.

Ask for Leslie. She was superb!!!! She epitomizes the meaning of "Customer Service". She was patient and fun and knowledgeable, she knew how to speak to the layperson until they understood, and with a great smile. She just flat-out simplified the process of picking frames, lens, and everything else that goes along with it - including the insurance side. she also knows where to get a quick, good ,milkshake! Rest of the staff was very friendly also. Leslie deserves a raise! BTW, the doctor knows his stuff also. I recommend to give this place a try.

I was disappointed to have so many problems with my 1st experience here. The exam was the quickest eye exam Ive ever had, but there was nothing fast about the other aspects of the process. Be prepared to wait FOREVER when you go in, because they only have 1 employee that can fit glasses, etc. When my glasses finally came in, 2 weeks after I ordered them, the script was wrong. So blurry, so much for that quick exam. Prices are high, the wait is long, customer service is so-so. Ill let them fix the prescription before I find a different eye doctor.

Ive been going to American Eyewear for nearly 10 years. The doctor is great (quick exam), and the ladies out front are always so helpful. They arent shy about telling me which glasses are the perfect fit for my little face, and I know I can trust their honest opinions. Also really easy to bring in my glasses for a "tune-up" if a screw comes loose and they sit too low on my nose. Not exactly a jackpot for inexpensive glasses, but the location is convenient and customer service is top notch!

Picked this place from a list provided by my vision insurance. My whole family has since had eye exams and gotten glasses here and weve had ZERO problems. The technicians know what they are doing (and are not shy about telling you if the glasses youve picked really wont be right for you). The doctor in the business was familiar with a rare disease that affects a family member and was instrumental in getting him seen quickly by a surgeon. HIGHLY recommend them!

My husband purchased glasses and 1 week later we noticed cracks on each upper corner of glasses. Returned to store were told cracks would not go furthed..not true cracks are traveling further down lens. They refuse to replace. We will never go there again!
