Do not let this newer practice fool you!! Dr. Nasir Shah has been around a long time. He was the owner and vet at Lincoln Highway Veterinary Clinic in Lancaster, PA years before selling that practice and opening up a practice in Mechanicsburg (Check out his bio on the practice page to find out why he sold his busy practice in Lancaster). I drive from Lancaster County to Mechanicsburg to continue using him because, like people doctors, good vets are hard to find!! His knowledge, patience, and true animal loving ways show in your pets visit with him and I can honestly say first hand that this mans passion for what he does surpasses any other vet I have ever attempted to work with!! I have worked with him for over 12 years now and will continue doing so as long as he is in practice! And last but not least, his office staff are just as amazing. Thanks for all you do for me and my zoo guys!!!

I have not even used them a our vet yet and I am impressed. I have been using them for a while now to buy vectra 3d which works wonderfully on my dogs and our vet does not carry. The staff is always nice and the vet is so personable. I dont want to downplay our current vet but I just dont connect with the new people since our current vet sold out so i will switch on next visit. And to give is the option of buying a single dose...she a a godsend! A financial blessing when the furbabies are in need but you cant afford to buy the expensive 6, 9 or 12 pack at once....I also like the option to buy a single dose so I know the product is going to work. Thank you for being a great place for our furry friends.

Five stars are not enough to describe the professional, talented, committed and caring veterinarian and team of technicians and front office personnel! Friendly and timely service in a welcoming and upbeat environment. Dr. Ramos Ramirez is the consummate professional with a big heart and gentle way with animals. Ive been fortunate to have her as my vet since she assumed this practice and she has been the difference in my pets health and my peace of mind. Her team is trustworthy and collaborative and work to meet your needs above and beyond your expectations! Highly recommended this group to my family and friends!!

I would like to thank Dr. Ramos-Rivera and her wonderful staff for a very good experience earlier this week. I was unable to get an appointment for my cat at our regular vet and I wanted him to be seen for his eye infection. It was a bad experience getting my cat in his cat carrier and the staff was so wonderful to come to my car and get the cat inside safely with some very good skills! This was a very positive experience and I really loved everyone at this clinic. We will definitely return for issues in the future. Dr. Ramos is a wonderful veterinarian. She is very “hands on” and is extremely sensitive to subtle symptoms that are often signs of distress in a pet. Her keen observations combined with modern medical techniques lead to accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment. She is especially skilled in pain management. She has treated several of my older dogs for arthritis, which resulted in them becoming much more mobile and happier dogs. Great care for reasonable prices. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!

I took my very sick kitty to this vet for the first time after being unhappy with my previous vet. I was so happy to find such a friendly, caring staff. They took wonderful care of my little kitty while she was there with them (overnight). They were great answering so many of my questions and they went out of their way to help me when bad blood results came in. I havent received customer service this impressive in a long time. I will definitely be bringing my other pets here.

I am very impressed with Gettysburg Pike Animal Clinic. I went to them in an emergency situation. Dr Rivera and two staff members came immediately to help..Dr Rivera helped stop the bleeding and gave me blankets to get my dog to the Animal Hospital. They did not stop me to ask for payment, and i had never been there before. I believe the quick response of Dr Rivera saved my dogs life, and I am very thankful. Sally McGinley

Dr. Ramos and her staff have such a high level of care and concern about animals. In the 25 years Ive taken my pets to various veterinarians, Ive only been 100% comfortable with 1-- Dr. Ramos.
