This place is garbage as far as the staff goes. One of the so-called professionals said something so ridiculously vile and dumb, but she thought that I didnt hear it. I made sure to ask her what she just said, and of course the dumb twit corrected herself. She knew exactly what she said, why she said it, and why it was disgustingly inappropriate considering the situation. On top of that, the staff seems to have zero communication and can never give you a straight answer. I didnt understand why several doctors/specialists asked me the same questions as if they couldnt ask each other. They didnt seem to know anything, and I found it really condescending how theyd repeat themselves in a childish manner...little do they know that I (for a myriad of reasons) know an extensive amount about the brain and neuroscience. The issue seems to be a severe lack of communication and general customer service skills. Close it down or hire other people. Dont ever waste your time here, if its avoidable. Youll deeply regret it.

It is now April 2015 and this hospital is still the worst by far. I recently went there again to the emergency room and some of the staff are very lazy, have and attitude as if they dont wanna be there, unprofessional, and even rough with you as a patient. When I was there on April 20th 2015 I had to ask for another nurse because the one I had was like how I just described. Even when I requested another nurse she had even more of an attitude. I got another nurse who was more professional and not rude So their are still some who do their job without having an attitude but dammit man there are some staff at this hospital that really dont need the responsibility to care for other people. If youre able, stay away from this hospital!!!

Worst hospital visit I have ever had in my life. I was treated for a dental abscess and the doctor was rude and treated me like less than a person. Unnecessarily stuck me with a needle in my mouth claiming it was to drain the abscess. That was a lie. The antibiotic would have cleared it fine. I told the doctor I was not in pain but my face swelled. She then tried to prescribe me tramadol and coerce me by saying its better for pain. OTC pain relievers work just fine. Doctors lie to get paid and purposefully try and get people, especially young people addicted to opiods. Philly Hospitals suck and I feel sad for people that have to go here.

Hospital is the worst hospital I have ever been to. Im only 20. I went there for acute kidney failure and they were only worried about my bladder and getting a cather in after I said it hurts mto stop I dont want it. The staff sucks a lady with long sharp finger nails tried to go in my stuff when I told her her nails hurt. Please if you value your life dont go here and than there was a man running in there saying someone chasing him trying to hurt him and security did nothing at all.... Please value your life. Dont go.

Worst hospital I ever been to!! Staff and Doctors are unprofessional. Its extremely dirty in the ER looks like the floors never been mop. I have pcos I went in with stomach pains they gave me Dilaudid and discharged me I snapped "like how? That drug made it worst i was nauseous but left anyway they dont care!! straight to lankenau hospital I went where they found kidney stones I had to get surgery. was there 3 days.. On my death bed I wont step foot in Mercy hospital again.. Dont do it!!!!

Ive been seen in the ER two times and never had any problems. The nurses understood that I was having difficulty and was extremely nervous and helped all they could. The Doctors seen listened, answered any questions I had, and saw that any medication I needed was given promptly. I dont understand why people say they have difficulty. Maybe its the patient and not the staff that is difficult.

2016...Only a few had professionalism within this hospital totally a thumbs down to the fact that they only visit a patient on hourly bases and seem to not do much, dont allow children or babies to see their love ones...they need to make better changes. Our family had an unpleasant time visiting our love one here. Never again.

the most incompetent ppl working at this kill shelter they call a hospital cant pick up the phone when it rings it rings 100 times , and to top it off cant even find send a piss test out with out losing it , a triple f up these ppl are working there i hope they close it down

Im actually still hear but I already have prescriptions in hand and I have only been here for 20 min with an athsma attack.I explained that I have an 8:30 appointment thats important and the staff was very helpful. Very happy

Worst hospital Ive ever been in. Not only is it extremely dirty but I sat over 3 hours for a scheduled appointment that was booked in 3months advance. Walked out. I will never step foot in that hospital again.

Mercy hospital is extremly lazy, and unprofessional. They turned me down for asma medication and told me they cant provide me because of something the state said and they gave me the medication.
