We have brought our dog to Northern Liberties Veterinary twice now, and have had such wonderful experiences both times. We recently adopted our dog and wanted to make sure we found the best vet in Philly to take care of him, and we most definitely have found that in No Libs Vet. The staff and service is so knowledgeable and professional, but also very respectful and in touch with the needs of their clients - both animals and humans! Dr Draper took care of surgery that our dog needed to have and was extremely upfront with us about the procedure and the cost and provided us with the information and time we needed to decide on the best approach we should take to ensure that our dog received the proper care he needed. No Libs Vet also accepts credit care which is a major plus in managing costs. Since our dogs surgery just 1 day ago, we have received follow-up from No Libs Vet via telephone to check-in and see if we had any questions and that our dog was doing well, which I find very comforting. They are extremely responsive and on top of things. Not to mention the office itself is very clean. We are so pleased with No Libs Vet and Dr Draper. I would highly recommend taking your pet there!

Love this place! I take my cat here and after my positive experiences, my roommate now takes his dog here. Theyve been nothing but thorough and compassionate. Some examples include: -My kitty has high liver enzyme levels and they very thoroughly ruled out options and kept me informed about the potential issues and solutions, not sugar coating things but keeping a sense of kindness and empathy throughout the process. -When kitty needed dental work, they were very informative about what needed to happen, why, when, and how I could keep costs down without sacrificing kittys health. During a routine cleaning they called me to tell me that she needed an extraction and if I wanted them to do it today they could just keep her under so they wouldnt need to charge me again for blood work and anesthesia. -When the roommates dog got into some prescription meds they were quick to get us in and reassured us that he would be just fine, but even gave us a cell phone number in case anything concerning happened after hours. That REALLY impressed me. I dont hesitate to suggest this place to anyone.

I couldnt have been much happier with my first experience at Nor. Lib. Vet. Center! Every single person I met was super friendly and personable and played with my dog etc. Dr. Pirok was extremely knowledgeable and took her time examining my puppy who I just rescued to make sure he was healthy and had no problems! She was even smart enough to smear peanut butter on the table when giving his vaccinations and he didnt even notice it was happening! It sounds like a minuscule detail, but little things like that are practices you dont find at other vets who would normally just muzzle your dog and have a vet tech hold him steady. In addition to how well my pup and I were treated, the prices were actually extremely reasonable, much cheaper than the vet my family used our entire lives for all our pets. This is also great because the facility is modern and clean and beautiful. They even called me the next day to make sure Finn (my dog) was doing OK after his appointment and vaccinations. I would definitely recommend this vet to any current or new pet owner!

Dont go to this place if you care about health of your pet❗️❗️❗️they just try to make more money‼️ So we came with our husky because her behavior very changed after her first period, she began acting aggressive with other dogs, not playful and fast tired. Doctor decide to make all possible test and even x-ray... even after blood exam came clean she insist on x-ray. We spoke to a lot other dogs owners and visit other doctor explain to us that its very common for dogs after first period to have "false pregnancy" symptoms. Doctor from this clinic didnt even mention it, i am sure she knew it, but preferred to make money on our love to our Husky girl. So basically our girl is healthy but needs more time to figure out all the things. I really dont get it how is it possible to be so cold person working with animals and dont care about their health but only about money!!! Never go to this place if you really care about your pet!

I am so thrilled that we found NoLibs Vet when we moved to Philadelphia a few weeks ago! Our Great Dane and our orange tabby are the lights of our lives, and we want a vet that understands that and loves them almost as much as we do. The doctors and techs at NoLibs are exactly what we were looking for! They are all unapologetic animal lovers, so they are gentle, and kind, and accommodating. Moreover, they know their stuff. They are incredibly knowledgeable and I have total confidence in them, based on the three appointments weve had with them so far. They fit us in quickly when we called for appointments, were prompt and attentive, and did not rush us through our appointments. They listened to all our concerns and talked us through any and every question we had. Were grateful to have them so close by, but wed definitely travel to them if we had to!

Dr. Pirok & her staff have been awesome with our cats, very compassionate & caring. We have taken all our kitties there since theyve opened for routine check ups & emergencies. When one of our girls got a mysterious lump on her neck Dr. Pirok did everything she could to discover what the problem was and when what our girl Sen needed went beyond her expertise she referred us to VSEC & Dr. Pirok kept up to date with what was going on. We eventually discovered it was a rare form of lymphoma cancer, did chemo treatments through VSEC but eventually when the cancer over came the chemo & we knew it was time to let her go, we came back to NoLibs Vet Center. They were extremely caring & accommodated us through out that very difficult time & we cant thank them enough.

I took my cat here for diarrhea symptoms. Both vet and his assistant were in the examining room, but for some reason the assistant did all the talking and handling of my cat while the vet mostly looked. The assistant sold me on a Rabies vaccine (I have an indoor cat), FVRCP vaccine, Revolution for flea prevention, and Royal Canin food. Afterwards, I realized these things werent really necessary, but at the time I really wanted the best for my cat. My cat was given Metronidazole medicine, but unfortunately the assistant did not properly mix it into the suspension. I ended up going to a different vet place to get the medicine filled properly. My new vet determined my cat has IBD.

I am so pleased with Dr.Pirok and her super staff at this Veterinary Practice. I just had to bring in my Ragdoll to rid him of his very matted fur. As sweet as he is at home, he is not a nice patient and therefore needs surgical grooming. When I picked him up he looked too cute in his new Lion Cut. This was a much better cut and so much more affordable than Ive had elsewhere. The office and patient area is clean and odor free. The staff is warm, friendly and available for questions. I like that they follow up the next day to check on my fur baby. I highly recommend them and will be back soon when I get the courage to put my other one in a carrier for his teeth cleaning.
