Absolute best vet around Cape May County Area. My parents always took our dogs to Parkway Vet when I was growing up, now that I am an adult with a family of my own, this is the only vet I take my dogs to. When my husband and I first met, he was taking his dog to another vet, he wasnt happy, but figured a vet is a vet. I told him we would take the dog to Parkway Vet, and needless to say, he told me that we should always bring our animals here. For me Parkway is all I have ever known, but I know so many people who transfer to them and tell me the difference is amazing. One experience I can share to explain, when my husband and I first met, his dog was living with his ex because of certain reasons. Well when we finally were ale to have his dog living with us, he got him back in pretty bad condition. So my much so I picked him up and took him right to a 24 hours emergency vet. Hairless, nails extremely long and more to add. The 24 hours vet understood, and turned out he lost his hair to a bad reaction, and treated the dog, however, he wouldnt stay still for them to do his nails. They suggested when we follow up with our vet to have them have our dog sedated to have the nails clipped. I got him an appointment the next day. Well I tried going to pet smart to see if they could clip his nails, and that obviously didnt work either. I took him to Parkway expecting them to have to sedate him (when I made the appointment they allot me time for sedation,) and the male Vet on duty stated, "I could not sedate a dog without even trying myself." and not in a rude way, he said it more as if with any morals I couldnt make a dog endure sedation if not necessary, and I dont want to charge you sedation if not necessary. He called a tech in, instructed the tech how to hold my dog, instructed me, and he got in there and did it. This dog was not mean in any way, big and sounded frightening, and would protect his family if he had to, but never bit anyone! That honorable to me as a pet owner. Unfortunately, when that dog had to be put to sleep. When he did, my husband took him, my husband got him a lone and wanted to say goodbye alone. The vet came in to my husband and explained what would need to be done, then said I am going to give you time to say goodbye, take as long as you would like, left the room for my husband to say goodbye to the best and smartest dog either of us ever had. We now have 2 others, one is 2 and one is 10 weeks, and hopefully will go just as smart. This vet is the best experienced, the best price, the best educated, the best all the way around. Very thankful!

I have been a client of Parkway Vet for approximately15 years. They have saved my dogs lives a number of times when I thought all hope was gone. The staff couldnt be more accomadating and pleasant. They always are there to answer questions or to pass on a problem to one of the vets. I use Dr. Hirsch mostly, since he was the first Dr. I saw when my dog had lymphoma,(undiagnosed by another local vet). He always gives you options and his advice about treatment and prognosis of difficult illnesses. He has a progressive nature and uses alternative therapies when indicated. You will never feel pressured to consent to a treatment you are not comfortable with. I definitely recommend these highly skilled professionals for your loved pet. You will also find that their fees for service are very reasonable and, in my case anyhow, lower than neighboring veterinarians. Please give them a try. I know you wont be disapppointed. A VERY satisfied consumer, Dotti Wetzel

I HAD 3 OLDER PETS AND THIS OFFICE HELPED ME TREAT THEM ALL AND ULTIMATELY SAY GOODBYE TO THEM ALL. WHEN I FIRST WENT I STARTED SEEING DR MOSSON WHO IS EXCELLENT AND HAS AN UNCANNY WAY WITH MY PETS. I FELT HE TRULY UNDERSTOOD THEM..ADDITIONALLY I THINK I HAVE BROUGHT ALL MY ANIMALS TO ALL THE VETS OVER THE YEARS AND THEY ARE ALL GREAT. THE STAFF IS ALSO VERY KIND AND PROFESSIONAL. I HAVE OFTEN HAD TO CALL THEM TO SAY I AM RUNNING LATE OR NEED TO CHANGE AN APPT AND THEY ALWAYS FIND A WAY TO HELP. ONCE I CALLED QUITE UPSET ABOUT MY CAT AND ONE OF THE STAFF TOLD ME THEY WERE THERE FOR ME AND ALWAYS WOULD BE---IT WAS SOMETHING I NEVER FORGOT. THIS PAST FALL MY CAT HAD TO BE PUT DOWN SUDDENLY AND DR MOSSON WAS THE ONE TO HAVE TO CALL ME AND TELL ME THE BAD NEWS AND I FELT LIKE HE FELT MY PAIN AND UNDERSTOOD. NOW I HAVE A RESCUE DOG AND CAT AND DR BROWNHILL HAS SEEN BOTH ALREADY AND BEEN GREAT- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE---I NEVER DO REVIEWS BUT FELT LIKE I WANTED TOO FOR PARKWAY VET

Losing your pet best friend/companion is always difficult. Parkway Docs made my life so much easier when my toy poodle, Gemini went into diabetic shock. The office was very helpful when I had to say Good bye to my best friend and the Docs were super. They were considerate and comforting when Gemini took his last breath. They got a box for me, put him in the blanket I had him wrapped in and laid him in the box. Then they told me to all the time I needed with my beautiful apricot toy poodle. I was so impressed with their compassion that when I purchased another toy poodle, I immediately took him to Parkway Veterinary Hospital. They have affectionately cared for my silver toy poodle, Marcque and very shortly, at age 13, I will need to say good bye again. I dread the day as Markee is blind, has an allergy and now trouble walking but I know that they will be there to help me through this ordeal. Thank you to the staff at Parkway Veterinary Hospital.

Most horrific experience of my life. My dog had surgery there and experienced complications. I knew something wasnt right and took him in around 10pm. Dr. Mosson assessed him and said he was fine (did not do any testing). At 2am I called Dr. Mosson in a full panic and told him my dog was dying. He was clearly irritated that I was calling him again and told me to go to Ocean View Vet (further from my home) He said I would get to Ocean View before he could get to the Parkway office. Public record shows he actually lived closer to the Parkway office than I did and could have beat me there. My dog died in my arms that night on the way to Ocean View. I was 5 months pregnant at the time. Dr. Mosson never called me the next day to ask what happened, or offer condolences when Ocean View sent the report to their office. I now use Oceanview Veterinary Hospital as they are open 24/7 and better equipped to handle emergencies and surgery aftercare.
