Id say the care was nice. However, I feel like they are very much into collecting as much money from you as possible. I was given a printed quote for a procedure for my dog, only to call back a few months later to schedule and the price went up by $40. No reason given. When I decided to finally schedule the procedure he needed to have updated boosters. Again, I had all my paperwork from 6 months prior with the cost of the boosters given, so I knew and planned on that estimate. The $53 boosters went to a total of $90. When I asked if I could postpone his boosters since he technically wasnt due until after I planned on having his procedure done, their response was that "all animals must be up to date." Even though hes actual due date is after the procedure date that I scheduled? Ive been saving for weeks to have this procdure done. And the price just keeps going up. Save your money. Go some place else.

I don t want to be mean to the support staff at providence since they were all good to me but as for Dr Herman I wouldn t wish my worse enemies to take there pet to him. I took my cat there cause he was very very sick Herman barely touched my cat, didn t even take his temperature. I was told just about nothing and sent home with a sick cat and no answers. I then took my cat to another vet spent half the money and my cat is now on his way to recovering. If you are looking for care and compassion for your pet this is not the place for you. I honestly I don t think Herman knows his stuff the other vet I seen was able to look at the blood work and know what was wrong and Mr Herman couldnt. Mr Herman also has very bad people skills and treated me as if I was stupid. Over all I m trying to look out for other Animals and pet owners. I wish all your pets good health !

I would like to extend a long overdue thank you to Dr. Herman and the staff at Providence Veterinary Hospital for taking excellent care of my eleven year old Lab/Husky mix dog named Sierra, through her surgery and recovery. Sierra had a cancerous tumor on her front leg and I was given no other option but amputation until my visit with Dr. Herman. Dr. Herman performed the surgery in April, 2016 to remove the tumor, which had ruptured, and was able to save Sierra’s leg. The wound could not be completely closed, therefore, for approximately 2 months Sierra’s bandage had to be changed by Dr. Herman twice a week. I was fortunate and thankful to Dr. Herman who took care of Sierra through the surgery and recovery with the best possible outcome! I highly recommend Providence Animal Hospital, the staff and Doctors are outstanding.

Dr. Herman is very unprofessional,rude & arrogant and have no compassion for animals. This was my third time visiting I felt uncomfortable on my first visit but I decided to give the vet a second chance due to its location. His affact was the same at every visit.He and his staff members where talking about private animal concerns in the reception area where me and other animal owners could hear the conversation without any privacy for the animal being cared for. Let this be a warning that if you care for your animal "I DO NOT RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR PET HERE" -A concerned animal Lover

Dr. Herman and Dr. Costa are two of the best veterinarians I have ever met. They are professional and focused (excellent surgeons) and their office staff is kind and efficient. The office itself is clean and spacious. I have had my dog with this practice since she was a puppy (11 years now) and I have recommended others to them for their surgical skills (spaying, ACL/meniscus repair, cancer lumpectomy). I read a one star review and was prompted to write this positive review because my experience with this team over the last decade has been nothing but positive.

Ive been going to Peter H. Herman, V.M.D. for about two years now and I couldnt be happier! His staff and his facilities are top notch -- especially the well maintained landscaping outside. The women at the front desk are sweet as can be. Last week, when my dog, Sam, sliced his foot open on a piece of glass, Dr. Herman did a great job stitching him back up and getting him back on his feet. I appreciate everything that Dr. Herman and his staff did for us and will definitely be returning when the need arises.

Loved them! my cat had an abscess on her lip and they gave me a same day appointment to see her. They didnt make me wait long for the vet. The night vet was knowledgeable about cats, compassionate and didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need. I also thought their prices were reasonable. I chose this vet because they were so close to home but now Id go to them regardless of where I live. I also appreciated their landscaping which is lovely.

We have used Providence Vet for many years, with three dogs over that time. The care has been excellent in identifying and meeting the varying needs of our dogs, including severe allergies, pancreatitis, and lymphoma. The staff is caring and compassionate. Appointments usually run on time. Only negative would be that the facility itself, particularly the waiting room, could use some freshening up.

We have been taking our pets here for years. We absolutely love them! Theyre very reasonably priced & the staff is super friendly! They are also very accommodating with their late hours of operation. If they have to refer your pet to a specialist.....theyre local. Cant say anything but GOOD things!

they wanted $408.00 for neutering (adult cat)...thats insane!!!!!!!! and they asked me right away if i wanted declawing with that. thats horrible. I said absolutely not. I was some what offended for them to even ask me ask such a thing. I said Ill look else where. All About The MONEY!!!!!!!

Dr.Herman is very arrogant and I wouldnt let him touch my dead animal. He is all about money and has no compassion for animal owners, the animal or his staff. I wonder why his employee turnover is changing so regularly. Dont take your pet here at all. WARNING.

I had a terrific experience at Providence Veterinary Hospital. My cat Sonnie needed teeth removed and they took such good care of him. Dr. Costa was wonderful and caring. I would definitely recommend them and I will be using PVH from now on.
