Really horrible experience. We were treated like human garbage. My husband, two young kids and I were on our way out to dinner for my birthday and saw our intended restaurant was packed. So we pulled off the busy road so that we could use a phone safely instead of while driving, just needing two minutes to get our bearings and be on our way. We pulled into the parking lot at Perle Vision, which had many many free spaces open. We were instantly harassed by an employee, who despite my assurances that we were leaving, kept coming up to our car and trying to shoo us away. My husband stepped out to try to reason with him, and this man insulted my husband using swear words IN FRONT of my kids and then threatened to call the police on us, which terrified them. For using a space for literally thirty seconds, this man was going to call the police on us. So I go inside to make a complaint to the manager, and this man, who is named Bob, harassed me the whole time I was speaking. To her credit, the manager was quite patient and calm, but nothing she said could control Bobs mouth and the words of unkindness he chose to use. She also didnt apologize, and was obviously trying to placate me so I would leave. I suggested he get it together, customer service shouldnt be like this. He insinuated to me that I was a bad mother. I told him I was showing my kids that they should stand up to bullies and left. But the damage wasnt over. I absorb emotional negativity from others physically, it manifests as illness. Stomachache, headache, insomnia, etc. I felt ill and shaken by his unkindness all evening, and it kept me from being able to enjoy a rare dinner out with my family. At one point, I sent them in to find us a table somewhere so I could cry by myself in the car without them seeing. We didnt stay, I was too depressed to want to be out anymore. It was the worst birthday of my adult life.

My glasses were causing my eyes to feel very fatigued, so I thought Id get seen. When I called around for eye exam prices, Pearle Vision had by far the lowest - $65 or just $45 if you have AAA. Thats almost half what the small-time shops wanted, so I went ahead and made a same-day appointment. It struck me as a little odd how open their schedule was, but I thought nothing of it. When I arrived, the parking lot was empty and everything inside the store was a little too neat - every surface was completely clean, every paper was in its place, and a stack of ready-to-go clipboards rested on the counter. It honestly looked as though nobody had been there in quite some time. The receptionist was very pleasant. The doc I saw (hes the only one there, I think) was nice but had absolutely no personality. It was like talking to a robot pre-programmed to ask you a series of questions. He kept saying "I dont know" when I asked him about my glasses causing eyestrain. But heres where it gets interesting - during the part where he had me look through various lenses, he actually let me know when he dialed in my current prescription and I could see 20/20 perfectly. Then he turned around and wrote a script for a stronger prescription! Im not usually one to doubt what the professionals tell me but even I can tell thats a load of crap. Part of me wonders if the doc wrote me a higher script in hopes that I would buy glasses. Between the completely-open schedule, bare parking lot, and too-clean interior, it was clear to me that Pearle Vision isnt doing a lot of business. I recommend they stay that way! They may be cheap, but its not worth it - take your money someplace else.

I got a pair of clear lenses and sunglasses. My prescription stayed the same. When my glasses arrived, I tried on the sunglasses first. I started going cross eyed and realized that they only installed one prescription lense. The other pair seemed sort of strange bit I got the High-definition lenses so the woman said that it would take some getting used to. I wore them for a few days and I could not see clearly at all. While I was at Walmart one day I decided to get the script checked. The new glasses were a weaker prescription than my previous pair. I took them back and they reordered the lenses. I have both pairs and I still cant see clearly. I will never go to Pearle Vision again.

Fantastic experience! They exceeded my expectations and I will be back. The person helping me, Tina, was honest with my choices for a new pair of glasses. She didnt try to talk me into a pair of glasses that was more expensive, but didnt look as good as a pair of less expensive frames. Tina went out of her way to get me the best lenses that worked for my very high script (I am a -4.5 aka coke bottle thick), but Tina researched the best value/plan that fit with my insurance. Tina promised Id have my glasses in 7-10 days BUT I got them in 4. Highly recommend this location.

I was a victim of fraud at this store. The Optometrist Vincent Gamuzza asked for my health insurance and double billed me for services I did not receive. I cant believe that such a large national company employ criminals. Google: "Vincent Gamuzza indicted on health care fraud". The store response: "Mr Gamuzza does not work here anymore", is in my opinion totally unacceptable. Dont share any information with them as they cant be trusted.

I love this store!!! Super friendly and helpful staff. I have five children and they are always accommodating to our needs. They always seem to go the extra mile. I drive from Bridgeville to take care of my familys eye are needs. We will never go anywhere else. Thank you to Veronica and her awesome staff!,

Sometimes with the chain eye places (like Americas Best) you feel like a number and not a person. For my eyes, I want the one on one treatment. At this Pearle Vision, the doctor is thorough and excellent, and everyone there is great. I highly recommend this Pearle location.

Avoid at all costs! Staff is rude, aggressive, and uncaring. So many other places to go, so choose one of those.
