I took my adult daughter to Taylor the evening of Friday April 14th. She was having bad abdominal pain and excessive bleeding. The emergence rom was totally empty when we arrived. Upon arrive she was asked to complete insurance information before triage. This may be normal procedures so no biggie here. The nurse didnt d triage and we want right back. Great! Heres where things took a turn. The nurse comes in and tells my daughter to disrobe waist down and give urine to rule out pregnancy. Okay, I get this too. The doctor comes in to ask a few questions about her pain and bleeding and turns around and walks out. My daughter provides the urine and we wait about 20 minutes until a nurse bring an injection of stronger analgesic like Motrin. The nurse leaves and were still waiting for the doctor to return to examine her or order blood work or ultrasound. In the meantime another patient comes in of another ethnicity ( White) were people of color ) and I immediately noticed the type of treatment received, such as the offering of a warm blanket, the kindness of staff and doctor who is now in with the patient taking time and more care. After waiting about 45 more minutes I told my daughter to ring the call button. The nurse comes in and I ask for the doctor. She goes and he comes back in after paying another visit to the other patient who walked in just like had. When he comes in he says you can leave theres nothing we can really do for you in the ER and tells my daughter to follow up with GYN, writes a prescription for 600 Motrin and discharges her. Fast forward today, she goes to GYN at another hospital and is told a cyst may be ruptured and sent for ultrasound. Im saying the staff was biased and discriminatory because of our race and/or ethnicity. We may take this to another level after seeking legal counsel.

The Assistant(s) demonstrated more professional bedside manner than the practitioner. I arrived limping in excruciating pain in both of my legs due to a fall. The doctor came into the room stating that she would prescribe Vicodin as her colleague had done (2 years ago). There werent any blood test ordered; neither was there consideration of the weight change. Upon examination it was noted that both knees were swollen accompanied with arthritis. I had to request an Xray of my legs; of which she only ordered the left leg stating "you will not be able to drive if you have two broken legs". Upon receipt of the X-ray I was told that I had a bruised bone. I left the way that I came. No one offered a wheelchair, crutches, or a cane to assist me. The Vicodin prescription was of a lesser dosage in volume than before. Needless to say I will not recommend this hospital to anyone.

This hospital currently employs Mr Ellsworth George Lewis III, who was recently appointed to be the Pennsylvania Commander and State Point of Contact of the Pennsylvania Alt-Knights. Alt-Knights are a group of alt-right fighting squads and has been featured in Hate Watch by The Southern Poverty Law Center. Lewis has been in the news several times in the last few months for his involvement with the “Kekistani Movement,” which has involved Lewis carrying a modified version of a Nazi battle flag around the country and participating in various far right and fascist rallies while looking for confrontation with protesters. The “Kek” flag also has added elements from 3%er militia groups and Ku Klax Klan imagery.

Worst hospital in the world. The ladies at the front desk were absolutely rude and had no experience what so ever. The whole time the nurses were sittin down on their phones not paying attention to anyone didnt want to come back and help. It took an ambulance 3 hours to come and transfer my girlfriend. Dr. Burkhart was an extremely nasty doctor, didnt clean the cut, just let it sit there and bleed out for 4 hours until they called another hospital for a transfer and when the transfer ambulance came, they were the ones that cleaned the cut out. Just a rude and nasty environment in that hospital, I dont recommend it at all for anyone. No wonder why theyre going bankrupt

Worst patient care Ive ever witnessed. It is unfortunate that some of the staff do the bare minimum and lack compassion for their patients, not to mention the high incidence of error and neglect. I hope something will be done to improve this hospital, if not it should be dealt with. Our family no longer utilizes Taylor Hospital due to the recurrent issues of neglect and poor patient care.

Came in with My son as we where removed from the American Airline flight to Manchester last night due to harry having an ear ache and them not allowing him to fly. Been to the Hospital here, was seen by the nurse in 10 mins moved to the bay and seen by another nurse and doctor with 20 min. Letter to say he can fly and prescription 10 mins later and no charge. Could not have been nicer.

This is the most unprofessional hospital i have ever been to. Rude staff in the emergency room as well as making my mother wait an hour just to be seen by a doctor as she is screaming in pain in front of the nurses. i will never take a family member or friend here again. absolutely disgusted.

Some of the nursing staff is awesome and the rest including the ambulance people are absolutely horrible. The one star is for some of the nurses! Will never have my family come to Taylor Hospital.
