My Grandparents always went to JVC,and handed down the tradition.There are many Vet clinics between Nicholson and Justus,and still always was worth the extra few miles for the best care and best prices.We all know how expensive proper care can be,and they are the direct line,of not cheating members of your family,and not cheating your wallet/purse.Dr Stevensen seemed to be the one who tended our loved ones.Then when he retired,Dr Lalovic came to the practise and they did not miss one beat.She is fantastic.Unfortunately,we all know the downside of loving our Animals,when we must say goodbye.Sometimes there is nothing that can beat old age.My italian Cane Corso,Gracie,almost had her to 13,and lived the longest of all in her entire litter.As a puppy,she had cherry eye in both eyes and needed 2 Knee surgerys before she was a year old.After she would freeze up on tile floors.They (JVC staff),would lug around the heavy rug for Gracie,moving it around to get her through her vet visits.(NOBODY ELSE would of done that for her).Then When I had to say goodbye,Dr Lalovic,allowed My girl to leave in her favorite spot,her byebye mobile.I pulled round back and Dr came out and Gracie left as I held her to the last second.I will never forget that gift.Takes Special Human beings to love them all,and administer Mercy,all in same day.If you live down in Scranton,one can enjoy a short scenic drive up the hill from Scranton Carbondale HGWY.The location is accessed perfectly from all directions..The GEM of our region is JVC..

For 10 years we have taken our dog to this clinic. The clinic has changed owners a few years ago. We go in every three months during the summer months for flea and tick medicine. This spring of 2017 my wife stopped in to buy a dose of the medicine. The receptionist asked for her information and went to check with the doctor, then came back out and told my wife she was sorry but she would not be able to let her have the medicine until we get a check up examination. She said it had been a year and a half since our dog had a check up, and that he needs an annual check up, and they wont give us flea and tick medicine until we get him examined. Examination fee is $100 My wife was very annoyed by this, especially since we dont get annual check ups ourselves every year. So I called another clinic in Clarks Summit and they were more than happy to sell us exact same medicine over-the-counter without even being a patient of theirs. We were very surprised that we couldnt get a simple flea and tick medicine from our vet that we have been with for years the cautious of this place..

BEST VETS EVER, THE STAFF IS ALSO GREAT,KIND,GENTAL & CARE VERY MUCH ABOUT THE HIGH LEVEL OF CARE THEY OFFER. I have a greyhound who is a big baby. and she sometimes requires "special" care. as she is very sensitive to medications and some "normal" treatments. WELL I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS @ THE JUSTUS VET. CLINIC. 1 last thing : The prices are always very fair, Before we took her to Justus we used the Dunmore animal hospital & WOW, A ARM & A LEG ARE AN UNDERSTATEMENT @ DUNMORE...

The doctors are very concerned about your pets and take time to read the chart before they see you. Staff are genuinely interested in the well being of animals. They have Saturday hours for emergency visits.
