Three years ago I decided it was time to find a new vet. My then 14 year old mixed dog Kelly started reacting very badly at our old clinic. She became very nervous just going in the door where before she always like the place where she had been going since she was a pup. A new vet had taken over the practice and the atmosphere had change dramatically after a year or so. I asked friends around town and one family used WGAH. I called and asked if I could bring both my dogs in for just a visit to see how they reacted to this new place. We were greeted with open arms and treats for my babies. Kelly showed no sign of nervousness and checked the whole place out giving her stamp of approval. Unfortunately one of the first things we had to do was put my best girl down soon after finding the good people at WGAH but the compassion and respect we were treated with made that most difficult time a little easier. We just recently add a new addition to our family and he contacted Parvo. The care and concern over our new little guy was a comfort to my husband and myself. We werent sure if he would make it. The Dr.s and staff were supportive and caring to all of us and I am happy to say our Noodge is healthy and happy now. I look forward to a long and caring relationship with all the folks we have come to know at WGAH.

We take both of our Golden Retrievers Max & Buster to the West Greenwich Animal Hospital. Buster had a serious accident several years ago and when the police discovered him they drove out of their way to take him to the West Greenwich animal hospital. I now know why, they successfully got Buster back on his feet and the care they provided is top notch. Weve had a issue with Max a boy that has required special procedures and the follow up has been second to none. The hospital calls us the next day and when we are there for a visit they take all the time that is needed to answer all of our questions and concerns. Seriously I love my dogs and want the best care for them. Pet Portal, appointment cards in the mail, email reminders! Excellent care, staff, and treatment! Thumbs up to Dr. Dana Brown, and Sharon and Sherry at the front desk. Lori & Don San Antonio

Last week we celebrated Mr. Morimoto’s being with us 2 years so off to WGAH he went for his annual physical. Weighing in at 5 pounds 9 oz, he was a trooper. He was treated like the little king that he has become accustomed to when visiting the animal hospital. Everyone fussed over my little boy, he even got special knocks on the door just to say hello! It was not easy drawing blood from my little ½ pint, but in no time it was done, he got a clean bill of health and we were on our way back home. We can always depend on the wonderful staff for all of our pet needs. Last summer when Gabriella gave birth to her 5 puppies everyone was so helpful with all our questions and concerns of being a new Grandma! I would recommend WGAH to anyone in need of an animal hospital that comes with a whole lot of GREAT experience for both you and your pet!

Three cheers for the great staff at West Greenwich Animal Hospital!!! about a week ago our dog Toby Keith accidently swallowed a dietary supplemant pill > He became so sick from it we thought we would lose him. But thanks to the fast acting and fantastic medical skills of the entire staff ( Everyone pitched in to help in his treatment ) Toby pulled through. The quality of care and concern was incredable. They even set up a small oxygen tank for him to rest and recover in! I have used many vet clinics throughout the state over these many years but none has given me the quality of care and concern that West Greenwich Animal Hospital has. The peace of mind cant be beat and you can bet I tell everyone to take their pets there.

As everyone already knows, our Rosie is the biggest baby in the world when it comes to toenail trimming. She cries so loud that youd think I was cutting her leg off. I have chased her around the house for weeks to try, I said "try" to cut her curly nails. Well, with that said I have to say a big thank you to West Greenwich Animal hospital for cutting ALL of them for her. Took about, well shorter than running after her for weeks and all the crying. Not only Rosie crying. A fantastic job, well worth it handled with tender love and care. ❤️ A big heartfelt thank you for helping us out and as usual always a great job with our cry babies Rosie and Willow.

I suspected Lyme disease was the cause of my dogs lameness and overall discomfort when I brought him into WAH. I was told that there was no need to investigate Lyme and the answer was he need a $4,000 knee surgery. It would have taken 10 minutes to run simple blood work to rule out Lyme but the doctor was positive that my dog did not have it. I got a second opinion from another vet and what do you know? My poor dog was full of spirochetes! His level of the bacteria was through the roof! Luckily he is a fighter and did not have any kidney damage. My dogs life was put at risk for what? Never rule anything out and get a second opinion!

We got our first cat from WGAH in 1997 and have been seeing Dr. Amy Pratt ever since! Our cats are part of our family and Dr. Amy and the staff always treat them as such!. It is obvious that they truly care and understand the animals that they care for. When Dr. Amy sees our cat, she never treats him like just another "cat visit". She treats our cat like an individual living creature and truly understands his personality, with a gentleness that never ceases to amaze me. And the staff always makes us and our pets feel they have known us forever and are happy to see us! WGAH is a very special place!

Within the past year, my husband and I switched from an "unnamed" animal hospital to WGAH. I cannot begin to tell you the difference in the quality of care our yellow lab Bruno is receiving now. At only 2 1/2 years old, Bruno has undergone 2 knee surgeries, was diagnosed with allergies, etc. The staff at WGAH have been so kind and supportive with regards to Brunos care. He is healed, and his crazy level of energy is back! If youre looking for a vet office that is prompt, friendly, and well informed on animal care, West Greenwich Animal Hospital is the best choice in RI and the surrounding areas.

We have two cats and are fortunate enough to live about five minutes away from WGAH. Our cats were adopted at eleven months old and we took them to WGAH for shots and neutering. I wish my wife and I got the same kind of attention when we visited our own family doctors. Their attention to our pets and the follow through call back to see how they are doing is wonderful. The techs, doctors and front desk staff are the best and the facility is always spic and span clean. If we moved further away, I would travel to make sure my pets got the best care at WGAH.
