Came to the ER for pain in my eye. Filled out the initial form with my name and basic info and then sat down to wait my turn. 6 people.... Not 1 or 2, but SIX different patients came into ER well after I did, and they were all checked in and brought to the back to be treated..... An hour and a half later (after I was the only person in the waiting room for 25 minutes) I had still not heard my name called, so I went back to the receptionist to see what was going on. They seriously asked me if I had filled out a form and checked in. My response was "yes maam.... SIX patients ago. So Im assuming that my social security number is just floating around somewhere... Thats nice". They found it discarded in the bin with the others and apologized, then got me checked in. After another 30 minutes I was finally taken to a room.... Where I was told 3 different times "we didnt forget about you, the DR will be right in".... I am sitting here TWO HOURS LATER and have heard every other patient in this ER be seen, treated, and discharged. The DR has YET to come into my room to check out my eye. This is absolutely ridiculous and the most horrible experience at a hospital I have EVER had. I understand that the ER works by priority and not order or arrival. But Ive heard these patients stories and symptoms for the past 2 + hours and I am telling you that some of these symptoms are MUCH less severe than having vision problems and my eye nearly swollen shut!!! What an embarrassment of a "hospital"!!! Thank God I am not in a serious emergency.... DRIVE ELSEWHERE!!!

Greatest thing about This hospital is only the nurses and some doctors... And they do not receive what they deserve so 2 stars for the nurses and some doctors. I honestly would rank this place higher but due to the lack of respect for their employees I am sorry to say this place is not where you need to go. Try Greenville or Anderson instead so you know the people working there are happy! not saying Easley employees are not happy its disappointing how a Christian hospital treats them. These people get treated and receive about as much respect as a pile of dirt and strive to be great employees its truly overall a SAD and PATHETIC effort on who ever it is that runs the place. I even heard the Hospital had a tradition a tree out front that since the hospital has been there they seasonally decorated it most of those are dead or gone and many people enjoyed the holiday spirit and how sweet that was. Well they recently had that tree cut down and was arrogant enough that if you asked about it the leader would say "would you like me to put it back?" this is all for a multi million dollar fountain they will be placing in the front, why not pay your employees what theyre worth before you destroy the hospitals tradition? Oh wait you got the money to pay for such a thing from not paying your employees what theyre worth! So think about these things before you choose this hospital!

I went into the emergency room and as soon as I got in there I felt insulted. I only stayed for 30 minutes if that then left. The people there were extremely unprofessional. When I told them I had chest pain the woman at the desk called someone on the phone and told them and then laughed which I found extremely rude. Then another woman brought a chair to push me to the back I told her id rather walk and that I was ok to walk, she told me to just get in the chair. When I got to the back there were guys in the hallway working on wires in the ceiling, they placed me on a stretcher in the hall then began to place ekg stickies on me and it was really uncomfortable with 2 guys right in front of me. The woman did not offer to cover me or anything. She did the ekg then the registrar comes over and says whats your social. I looked at her laughed and asked what is it for since she did not explain who she was or what she was doing. To make a long story short from beginning to end it was by far the worse experience I have had in a healthcare facility of any kind. The people lack customer service skills and professionalism.

This is quite frankly the worst hospital I have ever had the misfortune to be forced to visit. Apart from the triage nurse, the staff where incredibly rude and treated myself an other patients like pieces of meat on a production line. Then, after a three hour wait the doctor decided to show up and spent the grand total of thirty seconds in the room with me. She shone a light down my throat, said that fungal throat infections can be brought on my misusing steroids, and when I told her Ive never taken steroids, she rolled her eyes at me and snorted like I was lying to her. Before I could protest, she shoved a prescription in my hands and she left the room, telling me I could leave whenever I liked over shoulder. The prescription didnt heal my sore throat, and a few weeks later I recieved a bill for over twelve hundred dollars. Basically, unless youre actually dying and its completely impossible to get to any other hospital on the planet, avoid Palmetto Health Baptist like the plague.

I was bit by an animal and my arm swelled 3 times normal size. When my mom took me to the emergency room the dr told me the only reason I was there was because I wanted pain pills. I never even mentioned pills. His name is David something -Carver i think. He was cocky and mean. It was obvious to a blind man that I was in serious condition. Another dr finally saw me after mom told them to do something. that Dr said admit her immediately. I was in the hospital 6 days. I called the complaint dept twice , no answer. I left messages both times. No one ever called me back. Power has obviously went to his head. under any circumstances I WILL NEVER ever go to Easley Baptist again.

My uncle had to call an ambulance to pick his brother up he was having a stroke. The driver ask what hospital my uncle said Memorial Hospital. They was taken to Easly Baptist Hospital instead. Mind you his brother is having a stroke when they get there my uncle Immediately told the staff he wanted his brother taken to Memorial Hospital. Instead they proceeded to take him back in the ER. And was wanting my uncle to register him wanted for him to give all the insurance information. On top of all this that is going on right now as I write this review. They will not give my uncle any information and he is the main caregiver to his brother.

I was visiting and spent the weekend in Easley and had multiple encounters with the administration, physicians and staff at Palmetto Baptist Easley and found it to be a very pleasant hospital with helpful folks at every point of care I experienced. The ER staff was helpful and initiated contact with me with a compassionate and helpful demeanor. Security was visible and the physicians I spoke with where interested in me and why I was there. I was surprised to review the negative comments, this hasnt been my experience at any time and I recommend you giving them the opportunity to care for you or your family and judge for yourself.
