MONEY-HUNGRY CRIMINAL PRACTICE! DR. BAKER SQUEEZES AS MANY PATIENTS INTO HIS WAITING ROOM AS POSSIBLE, SQUEEZES AS MANY VISITS OUT OF YOU AS POSSIBLE, AND THEN SCARES YOU INTO BUYING AS MANY PRODUCTS AS POSSIBLE! STAY AWAY!!! I waited for nearly an hour to be seen. It was not because I arrived late; I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment. After I was taken into the examination room, I waited another 15 minutes to be seen by Dr. Baker. He rushed through the examination, and forced me to schedule another visit for a quick biopsy that could have easily been performed that day, had he not overbooked and rushed through his appointments. After being seen I was sent to the checkout, and I was forced to purchase unnecessary items. They used scare tactics to get me to purchase an expensive item; I later found out that the item I purchased is not the appropriate treatment for the condition they told me to use it for. When I returned for my biopsy appointment, I waited nearly 40 minutes to be seen. When I was taken into the examination room, the waiting room was filled with patients waiting to be seen. After my biopsy, Dr. Baker forced me to schedule a "follow-up" appointment to discuss the results of my biospy, 4-6 WEEKS LATER. He insisted on scheduling an appointment and that it NEEDED to be at least 4-6 weeks away. That is entirely unacceptable. The pathology results can be concluded undoubtedly within two weeks- why must I wait a minimum of four weeks to find out if I have cancer? And why must there be a follow-up when I could be mailed the results or informed over the phone? I will tell you why- its because that practice is money hungry and criminal. Dr. Baker squeezes as many patients into his waiting room as possible, squeezes as many visits out of us as possible, and then scares you into buying as many products as possible. Its truly sad.

Dr. Baker was very nice and thorough at my appointment, answering my questions and explaining procedures. I was very happy with my appointment. Unfortunately, the office staff billed me incorrectly, adding a billing code that didnt make sense to me since it was just a regular checkup, and thus messed up my insurance paperwork. I called and asked about it, they couldnt give me an answer that made sense for the code aside from "oh we do this all the time", I left a message with the nurse practitioner requesting an explanation so I could understand why they billed the way that they did, and I never heard back. Im disappointed in how it was handled, and I wont be going back since I dont feel that they were honest with the way they handled my paperwork.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Baker. I expected to be seen only for my current rash and was pleasantly surprised to be asked if I would like to have a thorough exam to follow up on my numerous other dermatological issues including history of 2 melanomas, 2 basal cells, and skin changes due to Lupus and Sjogrens. He was very thorough and I found his advice to be helpful. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. My compliments go to his staff as well for their organizational skills and friendliness. I highly recommend Dr. Baker to anyone with skin issues.

I had my first appointment scheduled with Dr. Baker within a couple of weeks of calling. I then developed a terrible case of hives (not my original reason for seeing him) and they worked me in right away. I was seen on time by an especially nice and concerned Doctor. He explained everything to me, prescribed medicines needed, and asked me to come back in 4-6 weeks to see how it all worked. If I stayed in the Greenville Hospital system, I needed to wait 4 months for an appointment. I am 100% delighted with this practice.

Doctor Baker has a very honest approach letting me feel confident that I wont be going through any unnecessary procedures. He also has an exceptionally friendly staff. The office location is conveniently located off of Roper Mountain road not far from I385. I also love the fact that he has early morning appointments so I dont have to take much time away from work. I have never had to wait long to be seen. Highly recommended.
