My family recently moved to the area and conducted research via the internet and insurance company. Staff was very friendly; however, the service was poor. I left with a prescription that was not discussed with me and without a prescription that was absolutely required. I felt as if my doctor was behind schedule and making up lost time. This was the least comprehensive physical examination I have ever received. It appears my doctor was more concerned with what my insurance covered then my health. My profession is extremely stressful; however, this was never discussed nor did it factor into my doctors evaluation. The actual physical exam lasted less than 60 seconds. At that point, the doctor left the room for good announcing “I was done” without any opportunity for me to ask questions. At a minimum, the following should have been addressed: Given a family history of abdominal cancer an Abdominal Exam was warranted, but not performed. Given recent shoulder trauma, Neurological and Extremities Examination was warranted , but not performed. I expect my doctor to respect me and my time while providing comprehensive medical services. Essentially this was the most cursory Physical Examination I have ever received. My family/extended family will be looking elsewhere for more comprehensive medical services.

As I new patient I wanted to try and introduce myself to my "new Dr" since my last one the quit (now for obvious reasons). "Dr. Karl" was very condescending, did not care about my past history and was to "rushed" and "judgmental" after a 2 minute intro. He did not even listen to my chest when I told his assistant that I also was having some wheezing,have a start of a cold and sore throat plus just had a dbl spinal fusion 10 weeks prior and just needed maintenance meds for hypertension and anxiety. Once his attitude took over - so did mine..especially since I have severe back problems and was in extreme pain. HE NEVER EVEN CAME BACK INTO THE OFFICE TO GIVE ME MY REFILLS! "Just dismissed me" and said that I needed a psychiatrist after just 2 minutes! WHAT A JERK! Maybe Im just to old for insolence from anyone anymore and was just looking for a caring Dr. to grow old with but found out that Gayle and Karl are NOT the ones that do their practice for the care of people - they do it for YOUR MONEY! The first time I met "Gayle" I had to request for her to come in so I could meet her - which was an obvious annoyance to her and she also had "NO TIME" except for 1 minute. Take your business somewhere else. Remember...They work for US.

Im 26, and Ive been going to this same doctor for over 20 years. The only time I went elsewhere, is when I had to go to the hospital. Now all of the sudden, since I havent been in a while, I am considered a NEW patient. This is very upsetting, as I have grown up my entire life knowing Ginger. She has ALWAYS been my doctor. I dont trust anyone else. I was told they are NOT accepting new patients at this time. However I was clearly in their system, as I provided my last name and date of birth, and the lady confirmed my first name. The receptionist told me to check back at the beginning of next year. This is NOT AN OPTION! As I am currently experiencing severe back pain. So I am being forced to go see a doctor I do not trust, and one that I am not comfortable or familiar with. I just dont understand how they could do this with such a loyal patient. 20 years of loyalty obviously means nothing to these people. I know this is not Gingers fault. She is an amazing person and a great doctor. I just dont understand how the people who run this place, could do this.

I have been a patient of Dr. Karls for over 12 years. Having moved here at that time from being relocated across the country and using so many physicians and providers... I was so glad that I was given Dr. Karl as a recommended physician. So easy to speak to. Compassionate about his work and your health. I feel as though Im not just a number waiting in line on the scheme of the day, rather Im a patient who has scheduled his time to meet my needs. Dr. Karl and his staff have always gone above and beyond to fit in appointments at the last minute or have myself or my husband sen by another provider within the RSF organization. Never have we been left out and not received some type of care for an urgent need. Scheduling is great, the RSF patient portal is wonderful to use, and both myself and my husband feel so privileged to have Dr. Karl as our PCP.

My wife and sons would describe me as "Old School" and I have to admit that is an accurate description. I have had several doctors and specialists in my life due to being blown up by a land mine in Cambodia and surviving Leukemia 15 years ago. Most of them were in and out of the office visit in less time than it took to take your blood pressure and weight..... I have to say I have been so impressed with Dr. Karl. He is like a Old School Doctor that will spend all the time needed to understand the patients problems, explain in detail his treatment plan and follow up with the patient, and its obvious that he truly cares about your health. I am blessed to have found Dr. Karl and his staff at Inlet Medical. Without a doubt he is the absolute best Doctor I have ever had.

This is my personal care physicians location . I can only attest to his care of which I am entirely happy with . This location has a good variety of physician care available including dentistry and lab center . The only thing Ive become dissatisfied with is since Roper Saint Francis bought the practice there has been constantly turnover in front office staff & billing has been a royal pain.

Dr. Karl was recommended to me by a friend and Im grateful for that and I, too, would recommend him. He has guided me through several serious conditions over the last two years and has the courtesy to listen to and respect my opinion even if not his own. When I needed my past medical records, it made me realize all the work that goes on behind the scenes with the whole Inlet Medical staff.

Im a new patient and when I called in to set an appointment because of a sinus infection. I get "we dont take new patients on Friday or Monday" basically ur screwed and we are too good for your business. So I guess I will just get worse while I wait for some friggen doctors office to let me in. Dont waste ur time with this place. They obviously dont need your business.

I have been with this medical group since we moved here in 2001. Have always been treated with care and respect by the staff and dr`s. Dr Karl is now my doctor. He is very careing with extensive follow up. He has literally saved my life from cancer. Cannot say enough about him and his staff, they are the greatest.

Doctor Karl is the best doctor Ive been associated with. He takes whatever time it takes to explain and answer any questions I may have. He also has a very good personality.Im very satisfied with Dr. Karl and would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family. Hes also a golfer,,,, so thats cool too !!!!
