Im military and just recently have moved to the area and my health care provider referred me to them. I called to get an appointments for all my family members, first of all the receptionist was very rude from the beginning, either way, I asked her 3 times for back to back appointments, FIRST AVAILABLE, apparently she didnt know what that meant and kept giving random separate dates and times for all family members even after requesting back to back appointments whenever first available a 4th time, I got tired and told her not to worry about it because I would be choosing another medical provider, she said they didnt care. I called my insurance again and was referred to Catawba Family Practice in Chester, its a little far of a drive but 100% worth it! We cant be more satisfied with Dr. Paladugu and her staff! She is a straight shooter and dont like wasting patients time!

When the Dr starts to explain to the intern in the room, her explanation to why you have a certain condition and thats not how you got it, then explain how you actually got said condition only for the Dr to turn her back to you and just repeat the wrong thing to the intern...you have a bad Dr. I thought I was going to like Dr Rettel, after all shes a Harry Potter fan. But shes very curt and comes off rude, and she needs to research pilonidal cysts more instead of ignoring me and giving the intern the wrong info (no, they arent ALWAYS caused by hair-look up Jeep disease in WWII) Not to mention that after my 3rd visit, I received a bill. Apparently even though they have on their website that they accept my insurance, theyve decided to no longer accept it. And of course they didnt mention that when I came in for the appointment.

Do not go not only is the staff rude but Dr.Rettell should not even be called a Dr. She will kill your parents she dose not care about the elderly she sits behind her computer and does nothing at all very unprofessional , rude !! Run she took a otha to help she not even good enough to work on dead people please run if you are a patient leave find a Dr who cares Do Not go to this group they are horrible!!!! The staff ,the office manger Pat the worse of all and the Dr. Run as fast as you can !!!!! You do not want any part of this Family practice they do not care and feel its not there responsibility for your health!!!!! Do not go to Dr.Rettell

I applied for an appointment for one of my daughters 6 months ago for an appointment that we were supposed to go to next week. But just a few minutes ago, I was notified that the appointment is now cancelled and pushed back for another 3 months. Why should I set an appointment half a year early if its not going to happen?

Not very helpful. Been going to a Dr here for years and he left and they wouldnt fill a prescription temporarily while I waited to see a new Dr. It was only going to be a week.

Dont expect to be seen at your appointment time. I waited 45 minutes past my 10:30 am appt. before I was seen, then waited addl 20 minutes in exam room.

Always courteous...the timeliness of being seen is good! For sudden illness or injury...much better to go here versus getting into my doctors office!
