If i could leave a negative star i would. EVERYONE at this facility is horrible from front desk to the doctors. I think in the 9 months my daughter has went there she has seen one doctor twice and every other time its been someone else. The last doctor she saw was the straw that broke the camels back for me. He was arrogant and condescending and down right rude. She had been to immediate care previously so this was a follow up She had been put on steroids and an inhaler which both by the way had helped and she was feeling better. DR. Daniel Touma was his name and he proceeds to tell me "i take everything a nurse practitioner says with a grain of salt because they only need a year of training to do their job." he proceeds to tell me how long he was in school and about his degrees and how he wouldnt have given my daughter the medicine that the NP gave her (Even though the medicine worked). At this point i was absolutely astounded that someone that is supposed to care for children could be such an a**hole. I will not be returning. I have since then spoken with the appropriate personnel at Spartanburg regional to voice my concerns in hopes he does not continue this behavior.

Regional Pediatrics is very much a hit or miss experience. Being a state-funded institution, most of the doctors are getting residency hours and thus cycle in and out. The vast majority of them are awesome in my experience. One particular lady was very bossy and critical of my parenting style, but all the rest have been encouraging and helpful. Similarly, most of the nurses are polite to parents and great with children. One complaint I have is that getting back to see a doctor seems to take forever. I realize that this is the case with most doctors offices, but it is something to be aware of. Get there on time or early for your appointment, and be ready for a long wait.

The doctors are amazing with my son. BUT.... It makes me highly upset that when Im told to call a day before my sons appointment for his flu booster, my call gets hung up each time. Ive called at least 6 times today and each time my call is hung up. This is highly frustrating. Im continuously hung up on each time I call. Im not sure if the phones are messed up or what but if so then this problem needs to be resolved asap. Please and thank you.

My child has gone there for almost two years and never seen the same doctor twice, the ladies at the desk are rude, and it is extremely difficult just to get them to pick up the phone. Ive called for 2 hours straight during business hours when my daughter was sick to try to get an appointment with no answer. Im in the process of looking for a new doctor.

I love taking my son to regional. We have been going for 6 months and cant say Ive seen anything but happy nurses and secretaries. The doctors are all amazing and always make sure I dont leave with unanswered questions. I dont plan on changing doctors (rotation) any time soon!
