I should of given this place a review a month ago but I just couldnt cause was still getting over our baby girls death. This place dont even deserve a 1 star but had to choose something. We boarded our one baby there for 10 days while on vacation and had to have our other put down due to cancer. Before putting her down we sat back in the waiting room for 30 minutes before anyone even came in. It wasnt cause they were giving us time with her, it was cause this is how they are. They are like a doctors office, they call you back, put you in a room and you stare at the walls. When we got back to pick our baby up and the others remains the lady behind the counter hands me our baby in a bag. I look I. The bag and she is in a plastic wrap. I told her I paid for a urn for her. She grabs her back from me with an attitude and goes and puts her in the urn. We ask them where was our other dig. It took them 20 minutes to bring her out. When we dropped her off we took in her own dig food cause there is only a certain food she will eat. We get her home and she wont even touch her food. We give it a few days thinking shes upset. Shes still wouldnt eat. I call them and asked them what did they feed her and they said what ever I brought in. Ummmmm........no they didnt. Its been a month niw and she STILL wont touch anything we buy her. I have to give her canned food. Which is the worse stuff ever. They told ne to just put the food down in front of her and leave it and if she gets hungry enough she will eat it. No...she wont. So uncaring. Then they call me and tell me that they forgot to charge me a little more cause everything wasnt added up. Really?! The way they treated my babies? I dont think so. I think they got enough money out of us the day we came back. I spoke with someone else and they even said to take my baby some place else. And I have done exactly that. Its been worth the drive the other place. Shes still not eating the dog food she has always loved. But we are still trying. We have tried every dog food just about on the market. We even went out and got another b little friend for her thinking she missed her little friend. Nope. Not that at all. This place has ruined our little baby. Not sure what they gave her but it sure would be nice to know. I was told by someone who use to work there that they take all the dog foods like they do in a shelter and mixed them all together. You know......how do they know a dog isnt allergic to something? Their prices are cheap there and they will work with you but you know.....you get what you pay for and like someone told me years ago cheapie buy cheapie get. This place is the worse and I honestly never thought I would say this, cause I use to LOVE this place. Sad just so sad. But if you love your baby please please take them some place else and for sure dont use their boarding. So very very disappointed.

The customer service is terrible and the staff is unorganized and dishonest. I took my animals in to be boarded for the weekend while we went to visit friends. I took all of their shot records in with them and a staff member reviewed the information to ensure their shots were current several days prior to when we boarded them. The staff told me that everything was up to date and they were able to stay there. Additionally, we had been to our vet within 10 days of boarding them and made sure that all our shots were up to date. We dropped them off and again the staff reviewed their vaccination information and told us that everything was in order. When we returned to pick up our dogs I was shocked to learn that my dogs were given additional vaccinations and a “wellness exam” during their stay and the clinic did not contact me. The vaccinations were administered without my consent and the staff did not even attempt to contact me. Obviously this is completely unsatisfactory and reflects poorly on the staff, because the staff reviewed the records not once, but twice and failed to inform me of the vaccination requirements. The issue was not that the dogs did not have a particular vaccination, but our dogs had a form of the vaccination that the clinic did not recognize, although other veterinarians and the State of Tennessee recognize the vaccination. Had the staff informed me that they do not recognize that particular shot I would have gone to my own vet and got the vaccination significantly cheaper. I reviewed the paperwork that I had signed when I let them there to board and I had clearly marked that they were to call me before they did anything to treat my animals unless it was an emergency. Not only were my dogs given a very dangerous and unnecessary vaccine when they would not have 24 hr supervision, but they did it without the my consent. No attempt was made to call me and ask if they could they did not even have the right phone number in the computers system even though it was clearly printed on the paperwork. We will never go back here and I hope that I will be able to spare someone else having to go through this by posting this review. I explained the entire situation to the staff, and they refused to do anything about it, and refused to admit their mistake. I contacted the clinic FIVE times in an attempt to speak with the owner to resolve the matter, but I NEVER got in contact with him, and finally gave up. This is by far the worst experience Ive ever had with any animal care facility.

Our initial experience with this Saint Bethlehem Veterinary Clinic was good, however it is the billing process that gets this veterinary clinic a one star. We took our cats in to be fixed, all went well with the process and had both of our cats home. One of our cats was ripping the stitches out, so we took her in back to the clinic to get the stitches back in. They replaced the stitches and gave her a cone to prevent further biting. As we were leaving we asked the employee who handled the stitches if we needed to pay for the cone or any medicine. We asked this to pay for everything in advance and not have to handlea bill later. The employee responded “No, that we were good, it was included in the original bill”. So once she told us we were good, we went home with our cat. Months later we received a bill in the mail for the said cone. To our surprise after months of not having any bills or phone call or anything from this clinic we had a bill from the veterinary clinic for something we blatantly asked about when we were there. So we call the clinic to find out why we are getting billed months later after we were told we were good. We talked on the phone to an employee named “Donna” who was extremely rude on the phone. We were just asking simple questions to ask why this is being billed months later. She proceeded to insist that this surgery was two months ago. Which we adamantly told her it is not, because we have the paperwork from March. So we proceeded to explain to her that her dates are not correct. Donna then proceeded to insinuate that it is my wife and I fault for not coming to the desk, after an employee said we were good. We paid the bill, which we intended to do in the first place, but there wasn’t a need for Donna to argue on the phone when we have paperwork to back up our dates and the fact we paid for everything already. In closing the billing department for Saint Bethlehem Veterinary Clinic needs to figure out how to promptly do their job. And the employees who work here need A LOT of work on customer service and not argue with customers over facts. I would suggest anyone looking into doing business with this place look to go somewhere else or at a minimum absolutely verify your bill is zeroed out so you don’t get a bill months later because the billing department cant figure their jobs out.
