I personally havent had bad service. I have, however seen a very unhappy couple after having put their dog down, find out that they had other options that very likely could have saved their dog. Another incident, where another couple with a young child had brought their dog in because he was very ill, came in complaining that the vet had given their dog a shot to help him along, where the shot in fact ended his life only a few hours later at the home. Personally, I have experience the best care i feel they could ppossibly provide. My dog had eaten a block of mouse poisoning. I had called them and they walked me through step by step what to do at home until she could be brought in. This prevented me from having to call an emergency visit, saving me quite a bit of money. My dog dig great, though she hated it when we had to induce vomiting. The vet cared for and monitored her for any problems due to the poison for a few weeks after the matter. We were very thankful to never have any further issues. The doc was extremely helpful. Another incident of my own experience, I had a litter of 7 kittens of whom had grown terminally ill due to flea anemia. I had come home to find them gasping for air as their life left their tiny little bodies. The kittens were only 4 weeks old, far too young to use any flea treatments on then. 3 of the kittens, unfortunately, did not make it to see the doc. 2 had died before the call. We took the last 4 kittens to the vet. 2 of the 4 seemed almost completely lifeless. the doc did not expect either to make it, yet they tried their best. They had taken ther time to clean the fleas off of all the kittens. They explained to me everything they could do to help the kittens, then what I could do if they survived long enough for me to take them home. They had given the weakest 2 IVs to help return fluids to their bodies and a blood transfusion to help with the lack of oxygen due the fleas sucking it all out of their blood. all 4 kittens stayed in ther care for a full 24 hours and returned home. Once home, I was to feed them until they were able to try to nurse on their own, then to release them to their mother, but to put a heat pad on low heat to keep them warm in their bed. 3 of the kittens began nursing on their own, however one of the 4 just would not take back to nursing. This kitten did not make it. I do not believe the vet failed in their attempt to save the kittens. If they had not intervened, I feel I may have lost the entire litter instead. I feel they saved the 3 to include one of the lifeless ones. We now call her lucky, for she had cheated death 2x before she was 5 weeks old. I am so thankful this vet clinic could help. They still ask every time I go there, how the kittens are doing. Every one of the 3 are healthy as can be.

Before coming to this place I call to ask how much exam only will cost for my cat. They said $39. They had me fill out a form with my name and address thats all they asked for. The doctor is examining my cat she starts to indicate that she needs to take a urinalysis and comes back and put a needle on his back neck and gave me a prescription for the cat to give them every morning and every night. Get to the front desk and they hit me with over $200 bill which shocked me because the doctor nor assistants did not state that any additional services that she was doing was going to cost me extra. First off my cat is 14 years old if its going to cost $200 or more to medicate him or trying to figure out whats wrong with him then theres no point of me trying to say have services like that done. I have never been to clinic which doesnt explain this. If I was told I wouldve stopped them. Ill never come back

Great people and fairly priced, quality services. The facility is old, but it is perfectly fine from the inside. I took my dog there because he seemed sad and depressed, and he was in a lot of pain when someone touched his back. We took him at around 8 AM and he was fairly calm. The doctor was very kind and very good a comforting him. The nurse was also very kind with him, and she made sure he was comfortable throughout the visit. She trimmed his nails and hugged him a little bit so he would feel right at home. It turned out he had injured his back at some point through the day, but the doctor prescribed some painkillers, which were provided right then and there, and injected him with some medicine. My dog is now as happy and healthy as can be. All in all, we were in and out in about half an hour and the bill was only $80. I would definitely recommend this veterinary office any day.

5 stars for Dr. Smith of North Clarksville and maybe 3.5 for the facility. My family has used North Clarksville for over 16 years for family pets. We do have experience with other vets in town since we have fostered for various rescues over the years but have remained with North Clarksville because of Dr. Smith, who we wholeheartedly trust with our animals. There have occasionally been techs or office staff that we havent really liked or that have been rude but the customer service has on the whole been much better than what we have experienced elsewhere (St. B for instance, who I still recommend if someone is in need of low-cost services). Dr. Singleterry at North Clarksville is relatively new there but has so far been excellent as well.

Not Happy. I was watching a friends dog who has gone to this clinic his whole life. She left me a note with permission to have him treated since he is old and because she was out of the country and could not be reached. Saturday night he starts having this asthma attack and cant breath. I call the emergency number and explained the situation. They would see the dog unless she called and gave them a credit card number. This dog had been going there for 12 years and they refused to treat him unless they were paid first. I took him to my vet - he is fine and my friend will never go there again!

I went to get routine shots, when the reception informed me that I had to have my wifes permission to get the dog seen. This is ridiculious, I have been here several times before and do not appreciate being treated like this. I would not recommend this clinic or any of the other two associated with this clinic in Clarksville. I know this is only one persons opinion, and animals are special to families; but this is not a person and does not require this absurd treatment. I will not pay to be treated like this for a service. I would go somewhere else.

I absolutely love this place! They are extremely caring for both you and your pet. My dad had to put my dog down after having him for 10 years and it was very difficult for me because I was not able to be there with him. The staff at this clinic took the time to send me and my dad a card and each person hand wrote a message inside. It reassured me that my dog was in good hands and they actually cared for him every time he came in. Ive never been to an animal clinic where they were that caring.
