I took my children there for an eye exam. My daughter needed glasses and we bought some Vera Bradley’s from there. I was then told I needed a second opinion on her eyes. I then took her to an ophthalmologist who tells me that my daughter has astigmatism in her right eye and if something happened to her left eye, she would be blind. So we had to get another lens made for her. I went back to Pearle Vision in Collierville to get the new lens. I took it on a Tuesday and was told 3-5 business days. I called on Monday and they did not know where her lens was and I was told they needed to track it and they would call me back. I made sure they had my number to call me back. Tuesday evening at 5:00 I call and she puts me on hold to find out about her lens. She tells me that it will not be ready until 2/7/10 which is a Sunday and they are closed then. So it will be more like 12 business days until ready. I then call LensCrafters and they tell me they can have her lens ready in about an hour. So, I call Pearle vision back to cancel the lens and she tells me that I can not do that. If she (the optometrist) had given me the correct prescription in the first place, I would not be ordering another lens. I would not choose Pearle Vision if I were you. Also, when I was dropping off her prescription there was a lady there to see if her glasses had arrived and she was told no and she said that it had been over two weeks!!

Simply, the worst. The eye exam is fine, however the wheels fall off the bus when ordering contacts and glasses. By the way, they will give you a pair of trial contact lens, but then will FORCE you to prepay for two boxes of contacts, BEFORE you confirm that the new Rx works for you....and then, when you call back to say , " oh these contacts are working for me" they will then say "we will place your order and it will take ten business days ( two weeks ) to get your contacts in". Remember, you already prepaid! And when it is all said and done they would have had your $ for three to four weeks. I will not be back. Save yourself some serious annoyance and avoid this location which has some shadey business practices....

The customer service is lacking. You call and they put you on hold for several minutes. However, I loved the doctor. He was very nice. It was mainly the front desk that has some workflow issues. I suggest one other person who only does the front desk. It seems the employees there have too many hats and cannot keep up. Also, it has taken nearly five weeks for me to receive my contacts. I called today asking about them and they said it will probably be another week. I have got to find somewhere else to go.

At first, I was extremely upset due to the disappointing customer service and the lack of staff to assist me. However, when I called to see why they had not contacted me about my husbands new frames that were supposed to be ordered 6 days ago, they informed me that the frames he had were discontinued but that they would replace the lenses for free and charge me the same warranty fee for the new frames. I have to applaud them for the effort they put forth to satisfy us.

I also dont know what the other reviewers are talking about. Ive been here twice and both times were great. My son even broke his glasses TWICE and they replaced them for free both times. My son loves the male doc there. He was great with my kid. The only gripe I would have is that their kids frames selection isnt great. They have mostly wire type frames when Ive been in and my other child doesnt like that type.

I called today around 5:30 and was immediately put on hold for around 15 mins then afterwards I heard a noise as though it was put off from hold, then I was hung up on. Tried to call back and they had closed the store and it went to voicemail, of course which was full. Horrible horrible customer service. All I wanted was a simple question answered. They wont be getting my business

worst customer service ever. I called several times trying to figure simply how much does an eye exam cost and I couldnt get through to anybody. FInally, on the sixth try of calling, someone picks up but doesnt say hi or anything. Simply says please stay on hold, and she never came back to the phone...I waited for 10 mins on the phone....RIDICULOUS

weve always gone here because its convenient. the people that work there are great. the only negative is that it can take a while for contacts to come in, however, they will give you spares until yours come in. these reviews on here are really old. this place is really nice and friendly and the exams are thorough.

Ive always had great service and have been greeted promptly. Exams are thorough and quick. Helped me decided which glasses to get. No problem with payments. I walked in the get my glasses readjusted with no problem either. Willing to put prescription in frames purchased from another location.

I dont know what the other reviewers are talking about. Pearle carries the same lines of frames as everywhere else. I had no wait, the optometrist was much better than the last one I went to, and they didnt try to push me into buying anything I didnt want. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

The exam was OK! But ordering contacts and paying was a mess. Wrong contacts - had to be re-ordered - took forever. Very disorganized.
