My son has been going to Cookeville Peds since he was born, I never had a truly good experience with them as a doctor. He went hundreds of times for the same things, which was an ear infection and between June and Feburary he had 20 ear infections. He also would constantly get the same coughing and illness once or twice a month. I finally asked several other people and found out that Dr. Chakrabarty was just across from the ER and would take walk-ins, which at the time I needed since I worked a full time factory job. It didnt take but one or two visits and Dr. Chakrabarty figured out the true cause of his symptoms, which was not HFM disease but was actually Reactive Airway disease, and got tubes in his ears. Since then he has had no more problems. He comes in on the rarest occasion to be ill. I never leave disatisfied, or upset when I leave. I feel like I am able to ask questions, and get all my questions answered. Dr. Chakrabarty will not give antibotics just because, there has to be a true reason and that has been a God send, since originally my son was on constant antibiotics from age 1 to 2 and a half, due to the RAD, and allergies. If I didnt trust him, I would transfer my son. Hes also the ONLY peditrician who will not push immunizations on anybody. He will give them the option to have them or sign a form that allows the child to not have vaccines.

Was a good doctor when he actually took care of the patients... now lets unlearned nurse practitioners do his work and they are clueless. My granddaughter has been in childrens hospital with a kidney infection, bladder infection, and uti...and has been on antibiotics since Christmas and we took her to Dr. Chakrabarty 6 times! She went 27 hours without peeing or pooping and his office did nothing to help her even though we begged for help. Because of that... she is in pain and had to be catheterized 4 times... without sedation... and she is 2 years old. I am not just disappointed.. I am angry! I would not recommend this practice to anyone! !

Tennessee Pediatrics and Adolescent Center has been home to our four boys since our oldest was around 2. Dr. Satya Chakrebarty and his staff have ALWAYS went out of their way to provide excellent care for us. They take the time to really go over the problems, and they make sure you leave with the assurance that your child will and can be well very soon. He himself has been extremely professional, yet very caring for our boys. I highly recommend anyone that needs a family Pediatrician, to give his office a call. I can guarantee, it will be a very positive change.

Dr Chakrabarty has been taking care of my children since he moved to Cookeville over 18 years ago! If I ever needed him on the weekends for my children being sick, he never hesitated to come in to the office. Ive never been turned away for a sick visit and that is very rarely seen with physicians offices these days! his office is always clean and his staff goes above and beyond to help everyone! I would not think of taking my children to any one else!

The most incompetent staff I have ever dealt with! For my daughters 2 month appointment, we waited there for TWO HOURS because they scheduled my appointment during lunch! I recently moved to Florida and asked that they send my records. I filled out a request and they still havent sent them and have to excuse as to why! Its been almost a month!!
