I will have to agree with some of these post about $$$$. My entire family has taken there animals there for years but with additions to office and new equipment comes highway Roberry. Took my dog today for teeth cleaning only to get a call that she has a heart mummor and woul need $190.00 for X-rays before they would do it. Well I opted out of tgat because my sister had already been through this and actually found a vet office that would clean dogs teeth who has heart issues. When I said no to that they said I could fill out a release form and they would do it. Make long story a little shorter ....she spent entire day there and received nothing and I was charged $49.00 for a preantestetic physical. Like I said new 0ffice new procedures but not on my dime anymore. Maybe this could be part of what God is talking about when he says the love of money is the root of all evil. Hope Im wrong but if not, shame on you!! Im adding this since they responded. We did try to call back and get an appointment to get her teeth cleaned hoping that our $49.00 would come off of some of the teeth cleaning bill and was told no that now the doctor would not do it. Ok thats fine. We will be going elsewear because you already got over $200 out of me for my 11 year old chihuahua who was having no issues and came in for a cleaning and does yearly and you removed 5 teeth. That should have been my sign right there. Yes I would say this entire situation and the way they handled it was dishonest. If you say your going to do donething for someone and you make them sign release papers...... you normally do it. Ridiculous. But you got my last bit of money ever trust me. Thanks

Our 16 year old cat was experiencing lethargy and having bloody diarreah so we rushed her to Fort Henry where she has gone her entire life. The woman at the front desk showed no empathy and stated it could be 4-5 hours before she could be seen and that this was not considered an emergency to them. We pleaded with her so she spoke to the veterinarian and came back and said there was nothing they could do sooner and offered no further advice. We then contacted a vet in Johnson City who said to bring her right in.They immediately ran tests and diagnosed her with pancreatitis and severe dehydration due to the excessive diarreah. She has been on IVs for 3 days and will hopefully recover but at least we gave her the best chance.

Horrible! They told me one price 180, and I pick up our cat they said 260. The lady told me to call at 3 and check in. I did that, she said my cat needed advantage and ear mite meds. I told her I could purchase that at Pet Smart and do it myself. Low and behold they did it anyways. I told them absolutely not to remove the charges. I know Millie wasnt covered in fleas. I checked her the night before, also put flea medicine a week prior. They removed the ear might med charge, and then was completely rude to me. We said Thank you, and got nothing but noses in the air. Horrible Experience and Very $$$$ Hungry. I rate this place a 1/2 a point. I will stick with Andes Clinic...

Absolutely incredible- they always go the extra mile to take special care of our pets! Prices are incredibly reasonable for the excellence of service offered. They always call the day after any procedure and they are quick to call us back if we have any questions. We have five pets (two dogs and three cats) and have rescued two of those since starting to follow with this office. We couldnt be more thrilled about how gentle and kind they were with our very sick and scared rescues. We have recommended this office several times to our friends and will continue to do so!

I took my cat there in December and was only sneezing. They took blood work and didnt tell me a price on that. They just told me they were gonna do it. Then just have me antibiotics. I got to the register to pay and then they threw a 235$ bill at me. REDICULOUS! For only antibiotics. Then he got a cold today and I asked if I could get a refill on the antibiotics and they said no that I would have to come back in. Im not paying hundreds of more just for antibiotics. They only care about money. Do not take your pet there. They will rip you of big time.

Fort Henry Animal Hospital is affordable, dependable, and caring. The staff and doctors are so friendly, theyll treat you and your animals like family. It feels great to know that I can take my fur babies somewhere and never have to worry about quality of care that they are given. They even go the extra mile to call and check up after a vet visit! Ive trusted this veterinary hospital with my animals for years!! I wouldnt want to go anywhere else.

They have taken such great care of our 18 year old dog during his bout of brain cancer and seizures. Our bills have been very affordable in comparison to other vet clinics, especially considering the level of care he receives. I recommend this clinic over any others in the area.
