Had some really good experiences with Dr. Rump at first. We worked up a treatment plan as I needed a lot of work done. Her front office worker is where I met my first issue. We setup the appointments with planned dates of treatment according to what I could spend financially. Then on the third appointment my treatment was switched to a more expensive one that was planned in the future. Before the procedure started dr. Rump was talking to me about what she was about to do and I told her that it was scheduled for a later date. She went to go check with her front office staff and Dr. Rump never returned, instead her extremely rude office worker came back accusing me of being wrong and telling me that I cost them money because they could have fit in another appointment. I left there in the pouring rain, got all my documentation from my home and drove back to confront the worker, paperwork in hand of what services had been scheduled when. Suddenly it turned from "You just cost us money" to "Oh this was just a misunderstanding." I asked to talk to Dr. Rump and she would not come out and talk to me. I was not outraged or anything, I like her as a dentist at the time and just wanted to show her that this whole thing was not my fault. Then came the billing. Almost every service rendered there was accompanied by a bill a month later that indicated the total price of double what they estimated me. Once again, not DR. Rumps fault but my dental insurance has resources to get an accurate quote with a phone call from the dentist. Then came the dental problems. Two years later, both of my nice porcelain onlays I had her put in have shattered. My current dentist said and I quote "I am suprised that these have even lasted this long the way it was done" I have since talked to Dr. Rump and she has informed me that the front office worker has been replaced so youll get decent service. She has an awsome setup where you can watch movies while shes working on you. The chairs even massage you.....all that is really nice but I cannot afford to keep paying for services twice so I had to switch. Very disappointed, she seems like a really good dentist but just seemed to fumble it with me. Guess I may be a one off since everyone else seems to love her.

Dr. Rump is by far the best dentist out there. Along with her staff, from the front desk to the hygienists, they are professional and truly care about your needs. I was referred to Dr. Rump many years ago and have no intention of going elsewhere. When my daughter was three, she accompanied me to an appointment because I wanted her to see what it was like going to the dentist. My daughter didnt want to wait to have her first cleaning but wanted to go ahead and give it a try. Dr. Rump and her staff were so accommodating. My daughter is now almost 11 and has never had an issue or feared getting her teeth cleaned. Dr. Rump and her staff stay on top of current dental trends and it is reflected in their treatment. I have referred several people to Main Street Dental and they all report back about how positive their experience has been. I am notorious for grinding my teeth and Dr. Rump has taken the time to make two different custom mouth pieces for me to try and determine which is the most comfortable for me. She has also corrected poor dental work that I had done prior to coming to her office. If you are looking for a dentist, you will not be disappointed in Main Street Dental. The environment is so relaxing...from the massaging chairs, to the flat screen televisions in each room where the patient picks the channel, to the paraffin hand treatment while you are getting your teeth cleaned. It is unlike any other dental experience out there!

Synopsis: Dr. Rump is great! Long version: After 5+ years of being told by several dentists that I had to do something about my badly worn teeth or require dentures in another 10-15 years time, Jodi finally **listened** to my needs and came up with a workable treatment and restoration plan. She worked closely with Invisalign to move my teeth in ways other orthodontists had repeatedly **told** me could only be done using traditional braces and by extracting some teeth. After two years of re-aligning my teeth Dr. Rump worked with a master ceramist to put together a set of crowns and veneers that matched my face, jaw and natural tooth color. After 2 (very) long sessions in the dentist chair, I now have a set of teeth that looks great and natural, and more importantly will last me a lifetime. My bite is better than ever and I can chew through foods more easily. I sleep better, have fewer headaches and am no longer afraid of the dentist! While it is probably a bad sign that all of Jodis team knew me by name at the end of all this, they all did a great job making this as pleasant an experience as possible.

Just Awesome! I dont usually post reviews but for this experience, it was a MUST! This is, hands down, the best dental experience Ive ever had. Christina was so awesome an knowledgeable , she really put me at ease. She was caring and very patient. Dr Rump was wonderful also. They seemed to really care about my comfort and overall dental health. They had advanced equipment, and they were able to keep me in the loop about everything by showing me the x rays and actual photos of my before and after work! To top it all off, they gave me COOKIES on my way out the door (lol kinda funny huh?! What a step up from a lollipop). If youre searching for a very professional, knowledgeable, and caring dentist to visit, I HIGHLY recommend this place! Thanks guys :-)

I am writing about my past 4 month and ongoing experiences at Main Street Dental in Ventura under Dr. Khazalis care. I had severe dental issues when I went in the first time. I had neglected these for a few years and as expected had to undergo extractions and root canals. These have led to 2 bridges on my lower jaw. Every dental visit that I have seen Dr. Khazali or any staff member on her team, I have always been welcomed, given the best treatment options and experienced professionalism and courtesy. Besides being so thorough with her practice, Dr. Khazali brings with her warmth and gentle treatment which would calm anyones nerves:) She along with her team is the best in Ventura and I would highly recommend her practice!

The cleaning experience was nice (coffee, massage chairs and TVs), but I didnt realize it would cost $52 over what my insurance would cover, in network mind you. Not to mention, I was told I needed work on 13 different places (not cavities, kissing lesions), after never having a cavity in my life. Found out my friend was given the exact same diagnosis. When I asked Dr. Rump about how imperitive it was to get all the work done at once, I couldnt get a straight answer. The work I did allow them to do was awful - they chipped my tooth and its hard to floss between two of my teeth. I will say their front office staff and my dental hygienist were great, but overall was terrible.
