My mom first started coming here years ago with her 2 dogs and a cat. and now Im a faithful customer with my dog. My mothers experieces ranged from little things to the big. They are very personable and have made me feel very comfortable with every visit. I have been there for the small things like update on shots etc. and recently a bigger thing like grand mal siezures. They saw us quick, explained everything, worked with us on the most appropriate plan of care; they were great. We then had to take my little darling for an overnight stay at the 24hr. Animal hospital on 12th. (that place a nightmare!!) Putting the two experiences next to each other in comparison showed me the reasons why I love Richland Animal clinic. The experience taught me not to take them for granted. cons: some lab results were not transferred to the overnight hospital when said would be sent. pros: really good with you about working with pricing and different options making them affordable, everyone seems like great dog people

One of the worst experiences Ive had with a medical practice (human and animal). The front desk staff were not very friendly toward me, the customer, and were even worse acting toward one another. Now on to the problems I have with their medical practice. I am a RN so I have administrated many vaccinations in my time. I am always sure to educate my patients on the possibility of allergic reactions, but I received no education. And guess what, our kitten had a pretty severe reaction. Im actually glad it happened to our cat and not someone elses bc i knew Something was wrong and was able to start treating her symptoms at home. What if this had happened to someone with no medical background or education about allergic reactions? I called in the morning to let them know about the reaction and the lady I spoke with had the most unpleasant tone and demeanor. I.WILL.NEVER.RETURN. If there were negative stars I would have chosen that option.

I have been using Richland Animal Clinic & Dr. Terry Brockman for ALL my pets since 1996. I trust them implicitly with the care of my babies and have no intentions of going anywhere else. During the last 20 years, they have helped me in more ways than I can count with traditional and holistic methods, the loss of many pets and then thru the process of bringing in new ones. I may be one of their biggest worry-warts but I love being able to call them when I need something and they know who I am and better yet, they know my pets. I guess they are like family to me. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a long-term (or short-term) relationship with their family veterinarian.

I have been here on several occasions with my girlfriend and her family pets. We are young and still in college so the financial responsibility falls to her mother who is disabled. We have taken cats and dogs alike to Richland and they have always done everything they can for our price range. Weve has cats that had eye infections, dogs with ear infections(it was a yeast infection). Every time Ive been they understand our situation financially and dont pass judgment because we have to wait to see if things clear up in our pets. Id say prices are mid range, you can get better prices from valuvet, but you wont get better care.

My family has been going to Richland Animal Clinic for years since I was a little girl. They have treated both cats and dogs for us. I have always found them friendly, accommodating, professional, and, as others have mentioned, aware of costs. They have always worked with our budget, never sacrificing best care of our pets. I recently moved to Memphis, where my husband and I just adopted a street-rescue dog. I am actually considering coming home to Nashville and using Richland for all of his vaccinations because we have been so happy with their level of care for so many years.

Richland has the MOST wonderful folks! They all provided excellent medical care and LOVED our Maverick Girl (14 1/2 yr.old dachshund) through a 5 month long journey with brain cancer. Especially the day she left for the Rainbow Bridge, everyone was crying with us and showing us tremendous love and support! We are forever grateful for their wonderful medical care and emotional care through the worst time in our lives. The folks at Richland Animal Clinic are a blessing to our family!!!

We have been coming to Richland for 5 years since we came to Nashville. We always liked it and once we started seeing Dr. Knox, we loved it. She has seen us through a Rottie with bone cancer and amputation and eventual demise and an American Bulldog with three different cancers and now an intestinal problem. She is smart, a good diagnostician and willin g to refer when she is not the right person. I drive from Donelon to go there if that tells you anything.

Love this place!! Best most compassionate vets--good common sense--and a definite passion for animals. All Gods creatures ought to feel beloved here.. Dr. Brockman helped my old boycat with the last years of his life, with acupuncture, and now Dr. Knox takes care of his companion, Katie. I trust these folks, and I know they care deeply for their patients and their human guardians. Cant say enough good things about RAC.

Best team of doctors and staff ever! Love the atmosphere, everyone there is an animal lover. They treated my aggressive cat up until he passed, and even though most clinics hated seeing him they were always very sweet and understanding. Now they take care of my two little kitties and I wouldnt want to take them anywhere else. Outstanding clinic. Highly recommended.

Love the staff here, Ive been bringing my love Johann here for the past 8 years, each Vetenarian has always given me the best feed back and care for his particular needs. They study his file before giving treatment, communicate fast, have always been empathetic. I feel comfortable with the facility as a whole and would recommend to anyone.

Weve taken our pets here for 20+ years and have always had wonderful experiences. The doctors and staff all are attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly love their jobs and animals. Cant recommend them highly enough. They also offer acupuncture and chiropractic services.
