The staff is amazing. There is never a long wait. All of the veterinarians are very experienced and they honestly care about the animals they are taking care of. I have never met anyone in this office that didnt seem 100% genuine about their love of animals and that is VERY important to me when Im trusting someone to take care of one of my fur babies. They have been very patient with me when I call in with questions (some of which, I know, are quite ridiculous), they have given excellent advice and suggestions about everything from the safest flea treatments & allergy treatments to the healthiest foods and treats. They have always been open and honest with me about whatever needs to be done to keep my animals healthy and happy. They have always explained everything thoroughly and given me treatment options, I have never once felt that they were trying to push unnecessary treatment or expenses. Giving the best care possible is very clearly their number one priority. This is the only animal hospital I have trusted for over 17 years now. And I have referred many friends, some of whom drive an hour in order to bring their pets here. My daughters and I are vegetarians, we do not use any products that have been tested on animals and our fur babies {a tuxedo cat (7yrs), ragamuffin (3yrs), black cat (2yrs) & a poodle (9yrs)~all rescues} are more than pampered, they have play areas, toy boxes and pretty much the run of the house. Even the cats go out for walks with a harness and leash. Yes, we are the crazy animal lovers that people roll their eyes at, but it goes without saying that the crazy animal lovers are going to be extremely picky about who they trust to take care of the feline and canine members of their family. Five stars just isnt enough to do Pleasant View Animal Hospital justice.

I finally took my cat in for his tummy sores since switching to grain free food didnt seem to be working. The vet comes in and looks at him and wants to do a skin scraping, comes back negative for mites. He says yea I thought it was probably allergies. Comes back with cortisone and antibiotic injections. I ask if he really needs them and how much they are. He ignored me and injected him with both. Then says theyll tell you up front how much they are! Then loads me up with antibiotics and flea and ticks stuff and sends me on my way. It was over 200$ for a skin rash! Im not a vet but I know if youre testing a theory that its allergies then start with zyrtec for a week two to make sure. Yes antibiotics will probably heal faster but there wasnt an infection. They would have healed on their own. He knew the skin scrap would be negative and didnt ask if I wanted it. Didnt discuss other options or give me a choice at all, he just racked up the bill and walked out.

The Gleaves, who own and practice veterinary medicine here are some of the best, most compassionate doctors Ive ever been to! I would go any else. And weve lived all over the country! Dont let this small town location fool you ! They continue their education and keep up with the most current medicines and practices!

I used to go to Cheatham county animal hospital for our pets. However after discovering this vet Ill never go anywhere else. The vets here seem to care about animals and they arent scared of aggressive dogs. Very professional I recommend them to everyone especially Dr Wynn

I highly commend Dr Morgan Wynne. She has a very friendly and compassionate manner and is very gently with my cat. She was very helpful with my golden who was very sick, she really seems to take an interest with her patients and is very easy to talk to.
