While my first impression was great (when I visited in April 2014), my second was extremely irritating. For some reason, the letter from a previous vet stating that my cat does not receiving vaccines due to a severe (almost fatal) reaction when she was about 1 year old, was fine for my first visit. However, while making an appointment for her to be groomed (2nd incident), I was told that it was not OK and that Dr. Vaughn would need to give her the shots in "doses" and monitor her afterward instead of just sending her home. I explained that this was completely unacceptable. Just because he planned to "monitor" her did not remove the risk. Im completely disappointed as I thought I had found a good vet that was actually concerned about my pets welfare.

I had to put my 13 year old dog down, and they were wonderful during this terrible time. However, we got a new baby from the shelter a month later, and I was told by a staff member that if I provided records of a clean heart worm test from the shelter, they would give the okay for meds regarding heart worm medication from Petmeds. When I showed up with clear records and a negative test, I was then told, "We have to see her first". The cost was $38 for them to "see" her first. What a way to lose our business!

If I could give them negative stars I would. My mom took our cocker spaniel puppy to get her nails trimmed and her paws and back end area trimmed ONLY. They were given very specific instructions. We picked her up COMPLETELY shaven as short as possible all over!!!! She looks horrible!!! WILL NEVER RETURN.

Dr. Kozman was fantastic with our feisty dog. Weve been to many vets over the years and have never had anyone handle our anxious dog so well. The front office staff were also exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Glad to have found this great vet office in Muletown.
