Run do not walk to a different provider especially if you have a Davis Vision product. Our problem was not with Dr. Castro. Our problems were with the staff. Namely Kim office manager or Troll bridge keeper?. The staff could not find our insurance plan. What it came down to was they misspelled our name. They then either did not know how or did not want ot bother to file our claims appropriately. Charged us fees that should not have been charged. Told us things were not covered that were. Steered my first time eye glass wearer spouse to a very expensive product frames and lenses that were not covered by our premier platinum plan. Bad Mouthed Davis Vision. They also then told us frames were not covered which they were. We had numerous issues and I found working with Kim to be a night mare. She would change her story. I felt like I was working with an adolescent child. They even took it upon them selves to cancel my sons contact lens order at another provider. Kim told them that we had them filled already at MFV and so we were not allowed additonal lenses. Which was a lie. When I confronted her she denied it. I even called to talk to "Dr. Castro" and I was told by Kim that she was her employee and that I could not speak to her. How unprofessional. How sad for an office person to be in charge of a an alleged Dr. We will never return here. I recommend finding a different provider unless you feel like spending mulitple hours arguing with an unresonable and unprofessional person. In 40+ years of wearing glasses and contact lenses, I have never had an experience this awful.

Went there a couple of weeks ago, and the service was good. People were very friendly, but the doctor that I saw was not very good at all. I went in to get a pair of glasses and a prescription for contacts. The glasses are great, the doc sent me home with a pair of trial contacts. I could not see well in the contacts and had to wear the glasses the entire week. On my return visit I wore my glasses and the doc looked at me like I was crazy when I told him the trouble I was having with my contacts. Anyway I told him we needed to change the contacts up a little. Needless to say I have a six month supply of contacts I cant wear. Happy with the glasses though. The lady that helped me with glasses was very nice though. Just had a problem with the doc not helping me out. I will be looking for another place to go next time.

My wife was having problems with the contact in her right eye. Same prescription in both eyes. We decided to try a different manufacturer that she had used in the past to see if that would solve her problem. I ordered the contacts online. The order was declined by the doctors office. Even though we had been in within the past 4 months, the prescription was the same, only a different manufacturer that my wife had used prior, they wouldnt let us fill the prescription without coming in. I was clear in my explanation to them that my insurance wouldnt cover another visit. How convenient. They charge a $39 in between office visit. I feel like Ive gotten nickel and dimed by this office at every turn. Congratulations, youll get your $39, and lose 2 customers in the process.

I recently vistied Modern Family Vision for an eye exam and had a wonderful experience. Dr. Castro and the staff were great. I felt very welcomed and they did everything they could to make sure we were taken care of. The office manager, Kim came over to speak with us for a minute to answer some questions we had and she was very understanding as well as going to all lengths to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase. I highly reccommend this office for your vision needs.

Our family has been going to Dr. Castro for years. She is wonderful. We love the whole team. Awesome place. We have never had a problem. If we have any concerns they take care of them right away. We would not go any place else. They constantly receive beautiful new eye glass frames as well. They have all price ranges available from budget to designer frames. They might cost a bit more than a Wal-Mart type place, but the quality and service are worth it.

Eh.. I like a place that will write your script, hand it to you, then see if they can sell you their contacts. With MFV, it was like my script was held hostage. I had to ask several times and make a couple trips up there before the "Dr would release my script, whatever that means. I have a budget with my insurance on contacts.. cant stay within budget purchasing my contacts here. The Dr. was fine, perscription seemed on target.

I hate myself for coming back to this place again. Appointment was for 9am. It is 9:50am, I am still waiting in the lobby outside... They sent me Txt & Email to make sure I got here on time. I showed up early & here I still wait. And this is only one of the many bad experiences here. Sorry to be negative, but I had to finally post a review, too many fake smiles but actual service is terrible.

Really liked Dr. Leazure, and all of the other employees at the clinic. Got fast service, and they are really helpful. The eye exam cost and cost of glasses was a little higher than that of a LensCrafters or other national chain; however, I think it is worth it. Im all for supporting private practices. The price of contacts was actually lower than 1800contacts, I found.

I just recently went to Modern Family Vision for a contact lens exam. I do not have insurance but that had amazing specials that made it very affordable for me. I was very pleased with the service that I was given. They were very patient with me and making sure that we got the perfect contact that was comfortable to me. The staff was very nice, helpful, and understanding.

First of all, when i first came there they made me wait in the room for about 1 hour before anyone came in. 2nd of all, when i ordered my contact lenses on the phone, they never placed the order in., so I called in again and had to redo the order. 3rd of all, they never called me back to let me know my contacts were ready!! Dont go here unless you want poor service!

I never write reviews but I felt compelled to share what a wonderful experience I had today. Dr Wysinger was awesome and the whole staff was so helpful! They helped me select the right pair of glasses, and made sure I got them on the same day even though I was there quite late! Im so happy I chose Modern Family Vision!

I would like to say that the entire staff was friendly and did a great job and I also wanted to let you know that Kayla was a big help and provided great customer service. My daughter who is 14 even commented when we left that she really liked that girl that helped her pick out her glasses.
