I am a patient of Dr. Smithermans and I would like to say that she is the most amazing dentist I have ever had and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new dentist!! Her technology is far more advanced than any other dentist Ive ever been to and she is just an incredibly caring and compassionate doctor. I typically get nervous at the dentist and her calm nature helped me relax before my dental cleaning. After my cleaning she showed me photos of my cavities which was eye opening for me to see and which no other dentist has done for me. On another date I had dental work done by her and she had a special device which gently held my mouth open and she also used Vaseline on my lips so that they didnt crack--both of which helped make my experience incredibly better than any other experience I have had getting dental work done. On top of that, her facility is extremely clean and her staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Five stars! I have set my next dental cleaning appointment with her and Im looking forward to it.

Dr. Smitherman and her staff were excellent with my daughter. My daughter is 8 and she has very high anxiety and a diagnosed intellectual disability: she is a challenging kid who requires tons of patience. Dr. S met her right where she was and went one step at a time to get an exam and cleaning partially done. We didnt complete the cleaning, agreeing instead to end on a high note and come back quarterly. I was impressed with how she demonstrated and explained everything slowly and checked for understanding before moving forward. I would definitely recommend Dr. Smitherman for adults, children and children with special needs.

I am disabled I pulled together enough money to finely get the smile I wanted bye getting partials .with in four months the bottom plates broke .which they repaired .9 months later my top and bottom plates broke I was told it was from grinding my teeth yet these are front teeth people grind their back teeth .Austin pediatric wanted $400.00 to repair my teeth Im disabled I was assured that I was receiving quality dental work Im now toothless and very unhappy with their work and would never recommend them to anyone Clinton Daniels

I had an extraction done today by Dr. Reza Arzegar, it was a painless, quick, and comfortable experience. He was so kind and walked me through ever step of the process. He was very informative and not the least bit scary. I will use him for all future dental needs. The nurse was also very sweet and she explained everything she was doing and made sure i had no pain. I went in for an exam and had my bothersome tooth out in the hour and could afford the extraction without payments. If you are looking for a dentist, this is the one!

I went to see them today for a tooth that is decaying and cracked i have no dental insurance and Dr. Ashley went out of her way to help me i dont feel like im being taken advantaged of and she came up with an amazing plan and strategy to fix the many problems i have in my mouth im happy that i have her to do the work on my teeth and thats saying alot since i am usually so scared of the dentist now im actually looking forward to my next appointment and having this tooth removed! Thank you Dr.Ashley for helping me

BEST DENTAL OFFICE EVER!! I had an emergency where my tooth broke and Dr. Smitherman took care of me immediately! I had to go to a meeting and she made the treatment the most pleasant Ive ever had, and trust me I am not a fan of dentists, but this office was great! I was in and out and could get to my meeting on time. Went back for a full exam and cleaning and got all updated for anything else I needed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST! Thank you Dr. Smitherman, you saved me!!

I have taken both of my children for the past 3 years. The dentist there are the best! The office staff is not! I made an appointment at 8:00 am for both, and when I got there they were having a staff meeting. I waited to check-in, but I was the first one. THey called two more people before my son was seen. Then they did his sealants without me being present. Finally, they called my daughter back. I didnt leave until 9:30. Three patients came and left before I did.

This is the most professional, informative, and comprehensive dentist I have ever been to. Dr. Smitherman explains every aspect of your oral health in a way that is easy to understand, and does so in an approachable and straight forward manner that allows you to be a participant at your own dental exam. The staff is friendly, the facilities clean, and if youre as lucky as I am they will be playing soulful hits of the 80s during your visit.

Update: They were able to fit me in immediately when I called to see about replacing a temporary crown that had chipped. I really appreciated that! Really nice experience and great staff. They answered all of my questions and listened to my requests and concerns. Ive already recommended Dr. Smitherman to friends and coworkers on the same insurance plan. They are also in my area which is super convenient for me and right off the highway.

I had a routine cleaning, exam, and X-ray done here, as well as my top two wisdom teeth extracted. Dr. Smitherman and her staff were extremely helpful, patient, and thorough. They explain what theyre doing, proper care, and preventative health information in great detail. Dr. Smitherman was calming and confident when removing my wisdom teeth. I would absolutely recommend them for any dental needs.

Dr. Smithermans group does excellent work from setting up appointments, providing notice of changes, and staying in communication with you while the work is being done. They are eager to provide the best service and you do not get a sense that they hate their job. I dont feel like getting my mouth in order is another stressful, tedious job tasks. This is how a service is suppose to be provided.

Awesome awesome awesome!! My experience at Austin Family Dentistry was great! The staff was very professional, front desk receptionists were very nice and took care of all my insurance stuff very quickly. The dental assistants, the hygienist, and Dr. Smitherman were very informative and extremely nice. I highly recommend this office if you are looking for a permanent dental office.

Ive been going to this dentist for over a year now and have always been very pleased. A different dentist acquired the practice during my time as a client and the transition was hassle free. All of the staff are always friendly, helpful, and let me sleep when I come in for treatments after working an overnight shift ;) I highly recommend this clinic!
