Shes a hands-on physician. Ive never had this level of care with a doctor, and Im 58 years old and have seen my fair share. She has a limited schedule but doesnt turn away the ill just due to calendar restraints. She may be late for your appointment due to her attending her patients when theyre hospitalized for whatever reason - but Ive yet to be kept waiting for very long. She puts the health of her patients first and takes it seriously. No delegating or passing off. I went in with a particularly angry abcessed something or another and while we sat in the exam room, she called a colleague and scheduled my appointment right then and there and hours later I was having it surgically removed. Same thing when she felt I needed to see a cardiologist. Blew. Me. Away.

BEST doctor ever! She is so kind and really cares about her patients. Her nurse Stephanie is super too. Even the lady that answers the phone is awesome. I live in Canyon Lake and still think she is worth the drive. She is so helpful and I really feel like she is there for me and cares about my health. She made a call to the ER both times I have been without me even asking her too. I got great care at Seton and one of the ER doctors told me how lucky I was to have her as my doctor.

I started going to Dr. Stroud in 2003. I have never liked to go to Doctors (had "white coat syndrome") , but she is so different. She makes me feel so relaxed. When she enters the room, I know I am in good hands. I even went to her a couple of years when she was "out of network" for me. She is fantastic and a great doctor. She is one of the few doctors that really listens to you and is very accurate in her diagnosis. I will always go to her. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER.

She has a professional, personable chair-side manner. She doesnt dictate, but listens to the patients concerns and then discusses with the patient what she feels is the correct path to go down for treatment, discussing patients concerns of treatment as well. Dr. Stroud came to see me twice a day after my triple heart bypass. She saw me on short notice when I needed her. She diagnosed that I had a serious problem and had me an appointment with my cardiologist within hours of seeing me. And, I was a brand new patient.
