I had been suffering from severe stomach and chest pain for almost a year. I had gone to several different doctors and had tons of tests and even had my gall bladder removed. Still the pain never went away and no doctor could figure out what was wrong with me. They had me thinking I was crazy. I also had low energy and no sex drive. I was tired of the traditional doctors. One day I was driving on Lamar and happened to see the sign for BH2. I gave them a call and made an appointment. After my first consultation, I had all the tests done they recommended. From the tests we discovered that I had a yeast infection in my gut and had food sensitivities, which was causing the pain. We also discovered my minerals, vitamins, thyroid and hormones were depleted, which was causing the low energy and low sex drive. That was in October 2012, and since then Ive been taking the hormones, supplements, detox shake and been on a special diet for the yeast infection and eliminated the foods I was sensitive to. I am now a new woman! No more pain, I have more energy than ever, my sex drive is back and Ive lost 25 pounds! The whole staff is wonderful - very friendly, helpful and understanding. I especially want to thank Aaron Brown for all his guidance. Aaron has a great sense of humor and is enjoyable to visit while he checks you out and makes sure he orders all of the hormones and supplements you need, sets up your next appointment and then walks you to the door at the end of the appointment! I call that customer service! Thank you, BH2, for getting me back to a healthy, happy woman again!

From the time I contacted Balanced Hormone I have been treated with personal care. I was able to get my appointments without any trouble. I made a few wrong turns getting to their office ( I get lost easily) and Aaron was kind and very helpful in getting me to the office. I was not real sure about this program, but after meeting with the doctors and staff, I was excited to give it a try. My appointments for blood test were made for me and all I had to do was walk in and give my blood. I had all my test results explained to me in a way that I understood. My hormones and supplements were ordered to fit my needs. I have been so surprised at the difference this has made in my life. I am trying to encourage my husband to make an appointment. I would highly recommend making a phone call and setting up an appointment to see what all they have to offer. If I have ever had any questions I just email the office and Aaron gets back to me very quickly. They never leave you hanging, they do what ever it takes to take care of me.

BH2 has helped me in a way that no other doctor could. I was experiencing problems with anxiety and didnt want to take the "normal" prescription drugs that my previous doctor wanted to put me on. Someone that I know started going to BH2 (but for different reasons) and was experiencing such great results, that she recommended I give them a try too. I am so glad that I did! They take great care to explain everything to you so that you get all of your questions answered. They are also upfront about all costs, so that you know what to expect with every visit and every medication purchase. It has been 6 months since I have been a patient, and I am confident that I made the right decision. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a problem that they arent getting sufficient answers to or wants to take a more natural and holistic approach to wellness.

Though the hardest decision for me was making the first call because of my frustration with othe medical approaches in the past. I have been a patient of BH2 in Austin for almost one year now. Since I dont have a thyroid or my ovaries, my hormone levels were wacky, at best, and I wasnt much fun to be around. Julie Long has been monitoring my hormone levels very closely, and making necessary adjustments, and these days, Im happy to report that I AM fun to be around, and I feel pretty marvelous! Anyone that has participated in bio-identical hormone treatment knows that this is not inexpensive, but its so worth the money! From the moment I called on the phone to inquire about services and receive more information, I was treated with such respect! All my questions were answered thoroughly and they even went so far as to check with my insurance company so I would understand my coverage. We met with Julie, our practitioner, she is easy to talk to about concerns and puts you completely at ease. Weve even shared some laughs! I have been to other doctors for bio-identical hormones in the past and the treatment does not compare to the care I have received at Balanced Hormones & Health. From the warm welcome from Whitney to the attention to detail paid by Aaron Brown regarding insurance and co-pays to the fabulous explanations from Julie Brown, I couldnt be happier. On top of all that, Im starting to feel better too. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and the environment exudes comfort as well. Emails are answered quickly and with care. Ive been seeing Dr Uribe for about a year and he has helped me tremendously. I went in with a list of complaints that included brain fog, moodiness, hair loss, hot flashes and being unable to lose weight no matter how hard I tried. I saw improvement after taking the hormones Dr Uribe recommended. I was also made aware of a list of food sensitivities after taking the ALCAT test, which he also recommended. He is thorough when discussing lab results and genuinely wants me to understand them. His staff is great, especially Aaron, who is friendly and knowledgeable and is always available to answer any questions you might have.
