I highly recommend Dr. Spangler. Dr. Spangler saved my dogs life! He is very knowledgeable and skilled. Dr. Spangler is not just knowledgable about cats and dogs, but about surrounding vet recommendations. I trust him with my fragile Jack Russell Terrier dogs, who are now 13 years old. My first experience meeting Dr. Spangler - - One day, while on one of our daily walks, one of my dogs decided to try and bite through a fence while trying to get to another dog on the other side of the fence. In a matter of seconds, my dog broke his front tooth! It all happened so fast! I had no idea what to do as the tooth was very loose but could not be pulled out because the gum was still holding the large tooth in place. On recommendation from a friend, I immediately went to Dr. Spangler. Upon entering the office, I was blown away by the friendly and caring staff. Dr. Spangler examined my dog, told me it was necessary to extract the tooth. The tooth extraction was completed immediately. I returned for follow up visits to check for possible infection. I am so thankful to have found this clinic.

The office is fairly dated (think 70s wood panelling throughout!) and smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. The staff, however, was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Spangler was brusque and other than drawing blood and applying shots did not perform a physical exam on my pet. He didnt even introduce himself to me, even though I was a first time client. I gave the place 3 stars because it was very reasonably priced, but I dont expect to return.

Found a lost puppy. They scanned for a microchip, which is a free service. The staff did it twice just to double check. Then they gave me helpful tips to find the owner. Luckily the tips worked!

Dr. Spangler is an old school vet and a really nice guy. Spangler has taken care of many of my cats over the years and I always trust what he has to say.
